He called out the Michigan education and bragged up the 3 straight BCS bowls hinting they are superior in football as well. Could be considered harmless but was definitely juvenile for a coach.

He knows all the names and all the reports but he doesn't get that football games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. He's always all about the skill positions. He's improved since McShay came along but it's still bad. Hell, it's like he didn't watch the first round looking at his best remaining. The first 8 have no OL/DL. They occupy 8/9 of the 22 positions. It could be that he does understand the game and ESPN pushes him to talk about highlight positions but does that make him any better?

Trout knew with the fight in Texas(why would he agree to go there...I know I know $$$$)he had to dominate to get a decision so he was overly aggressive. That's not his style but conditions called for it. Canelo is a selective stalker but Trout wasn't going to allow him that fight. So the stalker is looking to counter and the boxer is volume punching. Two men fighting unnatural fights. If Canelo was a better counter puncher he would have dominated but that's a hole in his game. Rightfully the fight could have gone either way but it was in Texas so.....

My old issues of The Wolverine. I still enjoy pulling the old issues out and glossing them over. It always came on Thursday at my house but I always checked all week haha

No the fans that say this are being selfish. If it's about this team, well this team wants them there. But here we have fans arguing against what this team wants under the guise they have this teams interests at heart. Get over the past, get over yourselves and support this team and what this team wants.

But I don't think for one instant things are shadier than the past. We just are aware things are shady. Disagree? Go ahead and look into the 70s and 80s if you want to see the wild west. Steroids were rampant, payments were blatant. Today it's tame, but there are 496 thousand sports sports channels now so the perception has changed.

That aside, we have no clue what ideas he may have. Night games make sense, more money for assistants makes sense. Beyond that we don't know what he may suggest. He's been in the thick, he may have seen good/legal plans to forward programs. After all he's been around. New teams can become "it" schools by quality of play, that isn't happening in the B1G right now. Not speaking SEC propaganda just saying watch an Iowa/Minnesota game. Forget the selling points and just watch the football. If you were a recruit would you want to get involved in that shit storm? Something needs to change. The B1G is garbage right now and decomposing. If Urban being a douche and becoming the league nemesis helps I'm all for it.

Wilton said the coaches were high on Cornwell and he just wanted the opportunity. Wilton has his chance. Now UM has their guy that loves Michigan. And they don't need two but they could take two. So continue going after top guys knowing you're good whether you get them or not. If another top guy is afraid of competition do we really want that guy? If we do get them it's gravy. Cornwell isn't going to decide soon so being sure to have a guy is great. Wilton seems like a great kid. Hello, and Go Blue!
