The season is young.

Before Michigan played them I looked them up & thought WTF is up with this schedule???

For those that are unaware Tarleton State:

- Moved up to D1 in July 2019

- Joined the WAC in 2020

- Head Coach is former Texas A&M, Texas Tech & Kansas head coach Billie Gillespie

- Only 1-5 this year but has played Stanford, Kansas, Wichita State, Michigan & now Gonzaga

I got downvoted because I didn’t own it at first, I went back at Beilein 4 Life because he was right and I was wrong. I apologize for that sir!! I edited it to own up to my mistake. I can at least do that much! Michigan Basketball is my passion so there are gonna be way too many times where im way back and forth on my thoughts and I’m gonna take my licks when I do it.

No hard feelings! I’m glad you owned up to it. We are all Michigan fans here and sometimes I lose track of that, so it’s a good reminder to myself not to be as dickish. That said, you were super wrong. Lol. But I thought our freshmen class would play a lot better than they have, so we all take our lumps!

Tarleton State is shockingly pretty good it seems like.

Gonzaga rolled UCLA by 20 points...

Michigan still has work to do, but Tarleton isn't that bad...or at least they are able to raise the level of their game...

I still believe Arizona is going to surprise people this year.

I assume you meant "one of those 16 seeds that a 1 seed would hate to play..." and I gotta say that's exactly the feeling I got when watching them. Tarleton State will win a lot of games this year in whatever conference they're in exactly. That's a well coached, athletic team whose only problem is that they're all 6'5" and under.

Don’t be surprised if Arizona wins the PAC 10.  That is a damn good team…they not only doubled the post but covered every shooter.  They are long, athletic and will be a problem for EVERYONE.    We should have beaten Seton Hall - that is the aberration so far really.  My biggest fear about this team is we don’t have 3 and D wings which makes the gravity around Hunter less effective.  Livers, Wagner, and Brown were shooters you had to respect.   Made doubling a bad decision…

Most people know little about this great game-and the sports journalists who write about and vote in the polls are at the top of a "list of ignorance" in this regard. Here, those who rely upon these "experts" to be informed...well, they are equally uninformed.

I will be shocked if Michigan does not, finally, end up in the top ten. Despite all the ridiculous posts on this board, Juwan and his staff are likely the best in the game-I mean #1...not simply in the top 5 or 10.  Furthermore, this roster is loaded and all the whining (on this board) is profoundly ignorance based. This roster is stacked with lots of very talented but very young players who have to figure out how to fit into playing on a real team-this isn't AAU ball anymore. The coaches have their work cut out for themselves but the past two years declare, and I am confident, that they will get there.
