Lincoln Riley *Rumored* Contract Details
Wow if true. Don’t know how much you can trust twitter (probably can’t), but here is what I saw:
- $110 million
- USC buying both his homes in Norman for $500,000 over asking ($1 million bonus)
- Buying a $6 million home in LA for him
- Unlimited use of the private jet 24/7 for family

This is disgusting
November 29th, 2021 at 7:53 PM ^
Why are you so "disgusted" by what some University is offering LR? Were you equally distraught when Michigan offered JH $7 million, did you give up on your Michigan fandom? Should we all get the same salary, America was built off of hard work and now you are unhappy that someone wants to pay him some big money for what he has accomplished - have we/you fully embraced socialism?
Then it must also bother you that singers or actors can make $20 - $50 million per year, as I am sure you never go to their concerts or subscribe to Spotify to help them make even more? I have a very tough time when people are "disgusted" that someone makes more than them.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:56 PM ^
Fuck off.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:57 PM ^
How about....
November 29th, 2021 at 8:00 PM ^
We stand together on many of the things you mentioned. However, I'm pretty sure he is referring to the fact USC can pay a coach that much money because the players are paid well below market value. Which ironically is a pretty socialistic system the players find themselves in. I did my best to avoid politics in my reply mods. If I stepped over the line, please delete it.
November 29th, 2021 at 9:21 PM ^
Wut? How is the players situation socialist? Their labor and skills have literally been exploited to the tune of billions for the people that own shit. That is literally capitalism.
November 29th, 2021 at 8:41 PM ^
The disgusting part, which you missed, is the fact that the same university would not pay a dime to the players who make this disgusting package possible.
November 29th, 2021 at 8:05 PM ^
Disgusting is what happened in Waukesha. This is…not.
November 30th, 2021 at 1:58 AM ^
Kind of...If this were bankers and CEOs getting this money, everyone would be shitting themselves, protesting and complaining about how unfair this capitalistic society is today
November 29th, 2021 at 6:09 PM ^
Yeah I’d take that.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:35 PM ^
I'd be on my plane the next day. haha
November 29th, 2021 at 7:31 PM ^
On the plane tonight? I make that deal. Damn good deal! And that pretty little nest you feathered for yourself, well if you're willing to bbq the fans of Oklahoma, I suppose that's worth some considerations. But I do have one question. When you get to that place in Malibu I imagine you're going to take off that handsome OU visor of yours ain't you? Now that's what I can't abide. So I'm going to give you something you can't take off.
*Carves OU in his forehead*
November 29th, 2021 at 7:46 PM ^
Have a friend who was just looking in Malibu, he said you can’t find anything decent under 13 million. So he’s back in Bel Aire for now.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:54 PM ^
LOL, one-half of one-percent problems!
November 29th, 2021 at 6:09 PM ^
Bananas
November 29th, 2021 at 6:09 PM ^
I should've been an innovative, offensive-minded head football coach.
Sounds like the good life.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:09 PM ^
That’s a lot of taxable income.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:14 PM ^
You're right! They should be paying his silly ass in NFTs!
Lincoln Riley signs 10 year deal with USC for this digital picture of sad auburn girls worth at least 100m.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:29 PM ^
Grief is nature's most powerful aphrodisiac, look it up.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:37 PM ^
Watched the Auburn game this weekend and it seemed like they had girl only or guy only portions of the student section. Is that a tradition down there?
November 30th, 2021 at 2:42 AM ^
It sure is...and California is looking to raise taxes even higher. He'll be paying 60% + between Federal and state. His property taxes on that 6 million $ home will be 6-7k per month
November 30th, 2021 at 3:55 AM ^
The struggle is real for this guy. I wonder how he'll ever survive.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:10 PM ^
Makes you wonder if the NFL is a better destination, pay-wise. Seems like these contracts are getting crazy in college.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:37 PM ^
Maybe pay wise but I'd think that the NFL has many perks, like not recruiting.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:11 PM ^
why would anyone have 2 homes in Norman?
November 29th, 2021 at 6:12 PM ^
My thought as well.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:17 PM ^
Two chicks at the same time.
November 29th, 2021 at 9:32 PM ^
....but wouldn't they be in the same place / house at the same time???
November 29th, 2021 at 9:33 PM ^
One for the wife and one for Cayman Norman!
November 29th, 2021 at 6:18 PM ^
Stash house
November 29th, 2021 at 7:59 PM ^
AirBnB rental, just in case the football thing doesn't work out.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:19 PM ^
I read that he had just built one and was still trying to sell the other.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:20 PM ^
Maybe when he bought/built the upgraded second home, he kept the first one for friends/family who visit on gamedays, etc.
That's all I got.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:32 PM ^
Norman is a nice college town, possibly an investment? Rental?
November 29th, 2021 at 7:48 PM ^
Why have 1 in Norman?
November 29th, 2021 at 7:50 PM ^
Opposite sides of town. Contingency tornado planning.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:17 PM ^
November 29th, 2021 at 7:23 PM ^
Same "should" go for Florida, FSU, Miami, TX - etc...it is almost baffeling how those programs cannot seem to even stumble into consistent winning with the recruiting advantages that are built in.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:56 PM ^
This is honestly the dirty secret of OSU’s ascendency to the elite of the elite the past few years.
Their best players have come from Texas, Florida, and California while the flagship programs in those states have all simultaneously suffered historic lulls.
If we want to get level with OSU again, we should all be wishing for Texas, USC, Florida, Florida State, and Miami to get their shit straight. That will do more to bring OSU back to earth than anything.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:21 PM ^
Who could turn down that? I would’ve held out for a house in Calabasas though!
November 29th, 2021 at 6:21 PM ^
Seems like a totally normal and reasonable contract
November 29th, 2021 at 6:39 PM ^
I know. He doesn't even get a car and a driver.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:25 PM ^
If true, crazy money for sure. Mel Tucker type money in Southern California at a private university for a Coach who is 55 and 10 vs. 17 and 14 at a public university. The State of California will get 13 percent right off the top vs. 4.25 % flat tax in Michigan. Crazy.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:26 PM ^
Dayum! (Checks to see if he is family)
November 29th, 2021 at 6:28 PM ^
This shit is out of control.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:40 PM ^
Does this mean they are lowering the ticket prices and giving free popcorn for everyone every game? They seem to have a lot of money.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:42 PM ^
When college coaches are making more than star NFL players, I think we can safely say:
This s*** is bananas. B A N A N A S.
November 29th, 2021 at 6:42 PM ^
A $6 million home in LA is, what, 1500 square feet with 2 beds, 2 baths?
November 29th, 2021 at 6:45 PM ^
Here is 6 million in Santa Monica (right next to UCLA)
1045 Harvard St, Santa Monica, CA 90403 | MLS# 21-777846 | Redfin
Quite nice, but probably only 1.5 mil in Ann Arbor.
November 29th, 2021 at 7:31 PM ^
If I was at USC, I'd want a $6 million house in the Hollywood Hills or Los Feliz. This one is a little flashy for my taste but it seems like something a USC coach who wants to project some status might like. And it's very California.
