This was not to dog Tate at all. I think that he is a great football player and will be counted on to win a game at some point this year. |

I don't think that it was ever in doubt that as we move toward Big 10 play Tate is the one with the experience and the talent to lead this team but Devin earned playing time in camp and these first few games were a great time to give him some experience. If we were for sure not going to redshirt him due him earning his way onto the field, which RRod preaches to him players and recruits, we did this the correct way. Now if we need Devin in the Big 10 portion of the season he has seen the field but Tate will be the first one in and I think that that has been the case since camp. |

After watching the Michigan D-Fence Purdue looks absurdly slow running to the ball. Also ND offense looks sloppy. We definitely have to take care of Rudolph but for the most part I am pretty confident that our D-Line is going to destroy the QB and RB's all day. |

Josh Furman is being groomed to be the fastest LB on earth!!! Not a free safety. Ray is a safety and was brought here for that reason. RR knows what he is recruiting and how it fits his vision. |
