Yeah, I was too. I suspect his high school injury was a lot more serious than many believed. At the time, I wondered why OSU stopped talking to him after that; it seemed like a Saban type move. Now, I'm beginning to think that they thought he'd never even play competitive football again as opposed to thinking that he'd simply not play quite as well as before.

"The Impaler" t-shirts are going on sale.  ;-)

Actually, considering how my Tate shirt is looking now...maybe we should avoid player shirts for the near future....ugh...

They delete ANYTHING that links to Scout, MGoBlog, and WTKA.

It definitely gets frustrating sometimes, but I understand it to a certain point.  They're all competitors.  Why promote your competition?  Would Coke tell you: "Hey, you can get a pretty good drink from those Pepsi guys."

His Dudeness

Wow. He was truly one of my favorite players on the team. Really smart and well spoken kid. I was really pulling for him. I hope it isn't true, but if it is I wish him well. I hope his knee troubles didn't factor into this. Here's hoping he gets healthy and can live a happy pain free life. There goes my second favorite player on the team (1st was J. Turner...)

that the depth chart listing at FS of Cam Gordon, Jared Van Slyke and Vlad Emilien needs a bit of updating?  Seriously, the dude just moved up to #2 on the depth chart due to injury and now wants to transfer?

not the university. Maybe he's convinced that he's simply not going to recover completely. Maybe he's going to suspend his scholarship for a year and go full time into rehab. Maybe when he tries to play, he's in pain.

Those are just possibilities, of course. More likely he wants to play, sees that his injury is going to hold him back from seeing meaningful snaps, and has elected to move to a lower tier where he is still an athletic top dog.

So long as he doesn't have any harsh words on his way out, I wish him well.
