|5 years 30 weeks ago||I know he is||
a in state defensive tackle, but seriously why would you want him if he does not want us? Like everyone has said it is not like Joe Pa will be coaching for the next 4 years, and if he is then take 100 m go points from me when that time comes. I figure by then I should at least have that much lol.
|5 years 30 weeks ago||Any idea||
what his forty time is? Saw on ESPN that he was being considered as a 1st-3rd round pick.
|5 years 30 weeks ago||R U||
serious? All I needed was 6 points to move ahead and round 1 of 2 for the title in my fantasy championship game and Michale Turner goes and gives me a whopping two points. R U kidding me ? I guess I cant be to mad considering I played 8 guys and the opponent played nine and only outpointed me by 4 whole points. Forgot to swap out Andre Johnson for Jacoby Ford. Gotta do better next week. Hopefully Johnson plays especially since Gates might not play for me in the final week.
|5 years 30 weeks ago||Not to be talking||
out of turn but I see why you have negative points. Your comment is just stupid and it will not lend it's hand to the masses. The people in here probably feel the same way about your thought processs and how you choose to use it to come up with your analysis. Just saying . Yeah , I know I am low but damn I thought the object was to be positive not negative. You sir are a example of what I choose not to become in this blog, a whiner. So get over it every team has their up's and down's and you are naive to believe that Michigan would not go through a transition period, but like most when the good times roll you will be on the bandwagon. MGoBlog will have first class tickets. Let the good times roll. P.S. I waffle when it looks bad , but I am not a kid anymore who believes that my team will always win, and also understands that their will be better days.Losing builds character.

dick but what does his beliefs have to do with anything? If he can coach do you honestly think that he would tell a player that if they were gay that they could not play or that God would hate them.?The reason I ask is because you say they will commit suicide and if I recall his son commited suicide and he was straight and not gay. I mean if you dont like him that is one thing, but to say he could not be a good role model because he stands by his individuality, which makes him who he is and one of the NFL's former great coaches is wrong.
|5 years 30 weeks ago||I think he went to||
Pershing High School in Detroit. Think he was getting recruited by smaller schools, I could be wrong. Can someone help me ? I rememeber reading about him a about a year or so ago.
|5 years 30 weeks ago||R U saying||
big brother Al tried to prevent little brother from attending Michigan? Why would he do that?
|5 years 31 weeks ago||I was||
thinking the same thing as you. If you go back to last year and compare this year I really think they improved a lot especially in the running game blocking wise. Saw a few plays where the tight ends made key blocks to free Denard for long ones. In the passing game I think they were more sure handed this year than last. With another off spring of seasoning with Denard they will be even better. Denard will come to realize that they are his safety valves when things break down.
|5 years 31 weeks ago||I think||
this was a good assessment,especially concerning the future. There is always room for improvement, and hopefully we get our special teams situation taken care of. Not so sure about giving away a scholarship though on a kicker.What Gibbons needs to do is stop thinking so much and go back to basics.
|5 years 31 weeks ago||Now that is a comment||
that I can appreciate. If I could give you a( +1) I would.
|5 years 31 weeks ago||I see||
where you are going with this,and I think I like it. Is that bad?
|5 years 32 weeks ago||R U||
serious the best Curry of the Curry brothers coming out of Bishop Gallagher was Ray and he went to Toledo. I do not know how them boys even got on the field, maybe special teams but not starters. I had the opportunity to play against and scrimmage them, and they were ok, but I dont know about bringing them back. Ray would have been good at UM very fast. Sahadi had good players(see Braylon Edwards, Jesse Johnson) so it is sad that he is gone.
|5 years 32 weeks ago||Does the same standard||
apply for a anybody who was young at the time and knew no better? Look at it like this, you let your family down do they disown for you not acknowledging the fact that you did wrong or should they forgive you only when you decide to accept blame and thenthey explain and show you why they feel the way they do about the situation. Blame Frieder before you blame Webber. Without Webber we get no recognition other than the fact that we won in "89". We do not know all the particulars surrounding his case that is unless you go by what Mitch Albom says in his book. This is the same Mitch that was fawning over the kid in high school. The media helped create Webber and he ran with it. My little league football coach worked with his father Mayce at Ford, and they were not rich by any means. I read the situation as one where Martin helped kids out that did not have a lot. I agree if Webber did take money or anything he should apologize, but he owes me nothing. He was young and made a mistake. The NCAA is still making money off images of the Fab Five and their likeness. Im just saying the NCAA is highy sacriligious when it comes to these things and "at the end of the day" they are taking advantage of these kids and we need to know they make mistakes and it is all about learning and not repeating them. Sorry for ranting and p.s. Izzo had Mateen out the program after his recruiting trip(rollover) so do not forget to thank Izzo. Part of me wants to believe that is why Cleaves NBA career was cut short.
|5 years 32 weeks ago||You sir||
are a cool friend, way to help a co-worker out. Sweet!!!!!!!!!
|5 years 32 weeks ago||Can someone||
help me out. I have been thinking for the longest what ever happened to playing for the school and not the coach? If I were a coach I would like to think that the message is simple come to my great university and play for a great program, and if things fall into place then you may be able to go on an play professionally. Why does it always have to be about whether the coach stays around or not? Shouldn't the only concern be about getting a quality education and allwoing the chips to fall where they may? I understand everything is business but why not look at the big picture and the lifelong friendships etc that you build up. I thought it was about turning boys into men. Sorry for ranting just trying to understand the world of college football.
|5 years 32 weeks ago||If I||
had points I would +1 you for that, funny.
|5 years 32 weeks ago||Yeah I must||
admit that 30 for 30 on the Canes was amazing. I used to think that FSU was the big dogs that is up until I got all the information needed. Them boys were mad crazy and off the chain. Excuse my ebonics session for the day. The way they talked about Deion Sanders was hilarious. It seems like everybody whose everybody played for the Canes in the mid to late 80's. If I recall we played them in like 86 at the Big House. UM(us ) was top five as was Miami(if im not mistaken). Good game from what I remember. Boy do I pine for the old days(winning)and playing great competition[ had to make that abundantly clear].
|5 years 32 weeks ago||Thank you||
for the clarification sir.
|5 years 32 weeks ago||Is this the||
kid whose father played befensive back for UM under Bo? Isn't he from Ohio? or is this a different kid?
|5 years 33 weeks ago||what are his||
measureables? Is he good at man to man or zone? Any additional information on Jarrett?
|5 years 33 weeks ago||My Uncle played in that game,||
Roosevelt Smith and he told me about how dirty the players down south were(not that they arent today). At the end of pile ups they would eye gouge,punch nuts, etc. Very physical yet talented players, could not understand the reasons behind the dirty play, other than trying to intimidate, why in the hell they needed to.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||I thirded that||
I thirded that sentiment.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||Onsides kick||
I like the onsides where the kicker dribbles it and recovers it himself . Do not know if our kicker could have done that but the thought of it being successful makes you wonder "what if"?
|5 years 40 weeks ago||Agreed||
100 percent I was thinking the same thing or maybe kicks it behind his own team. Now wouldn't that be something to see. Probably would have done it after we scored our second touchdown. Catch them when they least expect it. You cannot satisfy everyone, but I think at that point when we had some momentum that would have been good as any other time in the game.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||It was||
not Big Will but actually John Ferrara #74 gets knocked on his ass by Clayborn. Binns looks like he's in there but Clayborn had already blocked it. i think Big Will will be alright pardon the pun.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||wrong guy I||
thought the same until I watched it over again and the culprit is actually John Ferrara #74 is on his ass . Clayborn blocked it and Binns was right next to him. If kick had been higher as coach stated probably does not make a difference
|5 years 40 weeks ago||You saw||
and heard the same thing that I heard. The only thing I could think of was maybe a delay on tv that made it seem like it was after the play. The only other option is history(Indiana game) kinda like those fouls they call in basketball. Terrible because it was before whistle blew.
|5 years 40 weeks ago||Yeah but||
they hate us so much we get the negative publicity. I guess it is true what they say "The Haters Gonna Hate". We will get much better sooner than later.
|5 years 41 weeks ago||Very||
informative post. Thanks for the numbers and I hope that it all falls into place.
|5 years 41 weeks ago||Agreed,||
Hate having to live in Michigan and hear all the Spartan fans running their mouths on top of them being the king in basketball even if it is short lived. The one thing that makes me really sick is they are #9 in BCS rankings and do not have to play OSU. They have this thing on tv that says we have not beaten these teams since 2007. I would take 3-9 with the wins being over ND, MSU,and OSU all day. That said Go BLUE and go dilithium !
