As I recall this was actually a late 4th quarter long 3rd down reception so everyone was booking down the field to hurry up for the next play. The OL didn't see that their QB was down, and was staying down, as they were trying to get into position.
I donated and got a reply from a Jared Thomas at Purdue who was effusive in his thanks and is overwhelmed by this warm gesture. Says Purdue will be thanking each donor individually. Love this idea of a post-game donation in the amount of the final score.
This is indeed the place (or at least where I watched games when I lived in Paris in the mid-2010s).
Uncool story bro: I will forever remember watching the end of the 2015 Staee game there, sitting next to a recent grad who, speaking during the timeout prior to the upcoming punt-of-which-we-do-not-speak, repeatedly said "We got this, we've won, why are you guys so worried?!?". Can't un-jinx that.
Made the right decision to take an hour walk home that night along the Seine instead of taking the metro.
The Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act (Pub.L. 112–105, S. 2038, 126 Stat. 291, enacted April 4, 2012) is an Act of Congress designed to combat insider trading. It was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012.
FYI I'm not seeing that banner on this site, but if you are then you are at least #2 in your list as that beard is mansomly glorious on whatever face it's shopped.
When I saw what the tickets were going for at face value, I still said, "Hello, I must be going!'. That concert's not too pricy, I mean there's no jacket required. But seriously, both sides of the economic spectrum, rich and poor, can decide to fork over that cash and dance into the light. Either way I can testify that once you experience Phil Collins in concert there's no going back!
...from 24 Sep 2007. Man, Brian is such a good writer. There were so many things that got me hooked on this blog, maybe back as early as 2004(?), but among the many things I've always valued about this site is the quality of his writing. The UFRs and analysis are outstanding (especially given prior to MGoBlog I was mostly dependent upon the Freep or ESPN for any real Michigan football stories) but things like this column, and the non-haiku "dewey" goodbye to Denard are required reading for any Michigan fan. If you haven't already go back and read that 24 Sep game column and consider yourself fortunate.
...and you will too. Moved here in 97 but just moved back after 5 years overseas. Advice you're getting on this thread is consistent and correct. Good luck!
...in the 8th by the Place de l'Alma. They're saying a trentaine (30-ish) dead now on France Info radio, including hostages at the Bataclan, where I was last night(!) at the St. Germain concert. Too soon and too close for jokes - thoughts are with the victims.
I was fortunate to be in that senior design class in 1990 as well, hands down the best class I took in undergrad - Prof. Buning was just outstanding. I was on point for the thermal tiles and with 95% confidence I can say there was a 60% chance that the crew would not have burned up on re-entry.
That guy, Dave Arnold, you may also remember as the one who intercepted a pass against ND in the 4th quarter to seal the win there the following season. I roomed blind as a freshman his sophomore year and landed him as my roommate in South Quad (7316 Thronson - woo!). We could not have been more different, and he could not have been nicer, to me and everyone in the hall. Bumped into him at Art Fair 6-7 years after graduation and he seemed to be doing well - believe he played for Hamilton in the CFL.

Always enjoyed your content Ace, the writing of course but especially on the podcast. Great to see you back here.

Feening is a perfectly cromulent word.
Too soon!
Create hyperloop between home and work. That should take care of it.
Good level-headed discussion on this part of the thread. Some of us are nervous about this position because we have vowed to “Never Forget” .jpg.

I'd say that " All 4 predicted TCU wins and 2 of them thought it wouldn't be close." is quite inciteful.
