1 year 7 weeks ago	79-80 Draft	Cass Tech pipeline proudly on display.  Seabron, Huckleby and Greer, all former Technicians.  They played with Roosevelt Smith, a Michigan tailback from that same CT team.  I have mentioned this on the board before, but that CT team didn't even win the PSL championship that year.  Ralph Clayton (future Michigan slotback, and fellow draftee) was running wild as the Redford tailback and beat that loaded Cass Tech team.  In those days, only the top team from each Region made the playoffs, so the Technicians did not make the dance.  I still find that amazing.

1 year 19 weeks ago	Guard is scarier than center...	Same gaping holes in the middle classes, and you need TWO of them.  Obviously position changes and what not, but still... RR=fail on this front.  You can tell from the NSD presser that this in particular really grinds Brady's ass. "C'mon, fergodsakes, the game is won or lost up front.  Eight scholarship lineman...fergodsakes!"  (This is funnier if you imagine Pipkins saying it in his Hoke voice.) I believe that the coaches will get this fixed.  2012 signees are a huge step in that direction.  Hoping 2013 NSD patches it completely.

1 year 28 weeks ago	Last year's Sugar Bowl	I was working in NOLA last year.  With nothing better to do, a couple of us decided to go to watch Ohio play the Razorbacks.  With almost no effort, we picked up nosebleed seat tics for $20 a piece.  It was kind of nauseating to sit amongst so many Ohio fans as they took Arkansas apart.  Who knew that I was just advance scouting for this year's game.  Go Blue.

3 years 7 weeks ago	Could be the greatest Michigan name ever...	Charles Woodson and Curtis Greer, two Wolverine legends (OK, Greer was a solid DLineman at Michigan and then for the Cardinals [St. Louis Cardinals, God I am old] part of the old school Cass Tech pipeline).   Awesome name.
