The only way to make a troll go away is to destroy them or so completely shatter their barriers of anonymity, that they fear even returning to the online world. This only ends one of two ways. You are ruined or they are, the fact that they're attacking your wife and her livelyhood means all bets are off at this point. The moral and ethical barriers of online pranks have been crossed and you have to assume they can or could do anything to harm you. You need to do whatever it takes to stop them or it will never stop and you'll simply empower them to do it whenever they get an itch.
Calling the police is almost useless outside of filing a single report to put it on record. They don't have the resources to deal with something like this and the FBI won't tackle it because its not big enough. You're best bet is to lawyer up, and start sending subpoenas to the online platforms where the harassment is happening. After a long and probably terrible process you'll be able to get the real names and addreses of the people involved. That typically only happens once you've sued whatever ISP is hosting the trolls, assuming they aren't using a string of proxies. Do the following:
Turn the other cheek is nice in theory and terrible in practice when it comes to trolls. Good Luck.

Can we please stop referring to it as anti-LGBT (which it is not). It does not discriminate against gays, lesbians, or bisexual folks in any way. The law targets transgender specifically.

I'm pretty sure the best advice I ever received in pre-cana was from a couple that had been married 65 years (TLDR warning).
Always make your spouse your primary focus. Always. Extended family, kids, friends all come in second place to this person you've committed to. It shows when you don't whether you realize it or not.
Have a 'thing', and commit to doing/using that thing as a constant reminder of your love for each other. Their 'thing' was a tube of toothpaste that he always left on the counter which would drive her nuts (Put it away!). Finally one day she got so sick of him leaving it on the counter she stuck it in his sock drawer. The next morning when he went to grab socks for work, there it was, a tube of toothpaste sitting on top of his socks. He laughed and took the tube out of the drawer. Several months later she was in her car and went to reach for something in her glove compartment and what was in there? The toothpaste. She laughed and smiled. For sixty five years they been hiding that tube in each other's items for the other to find. What was once something that caused consternation became, in the oddest of ways, a symbol of their friendship and love for each other. They also mentioned that you can't manufacture a tradition, it's usually something that just happens. For us, it is meeting for lunch once a week, no matter what. The rules of conversation are we do not discuss work, kids, or family during that hour. It's time for us and to talk about us. I've been doing it for twenty years and we've missed lunch twice. It is easily my favorite part of every week.
Date your spouse. Set aside the kids, plans, whatever. Have time to do an activity for just the two of you, it could be something as simple as going to dinner or catching a play, whatever. Make it a priority. I'm still amazed at what I discover about my wife by just spending dedicated time with her.
Last one. Never judge or comepare yourselves to anyone else's marriage. Never judge because you have absolutely no idea what is going on behind closed doors even if you think they tell you "everything". Never compare because it doesn't improve anything. Feeling that you're doing better or worse than some other couple misses the point of being together entirely.

This is good advice. I would also add work environment is important. No amount of money is worth an asshole boss or douche co-workers.

79 straight hours of Quake/Doom2/Warcraft 2 at a LAN party with about 100 other people. I slept almost 22 hours after that.
That's one of those things you only do once.

San Diego is a comically bad sports town unless you're supporting the Mexican mens soccer team or the Denver Broncos/Steelers/Raiders. People who move here keep their previous residence loyalties because there's absolutely no reason to root for the locals.
It's just bad. Any game is typically somewhere between 40-70% the opposing teams fans. Mexico and the Raiders essentially play home games at Qualcomm. As other have said, nobody gives a shit. Which is mostly the fault of the owners of the franchises who do nothing to engender support except from delusional crackpots who gladly hand over their money (and votes) to watch steaming turd teams play.
Heck the best team in town is probably the AHL hockey team San Diego Gulls. Which may average about 9,000 fans a game. Actually that's probably better than the Padres if you take out opposing teams fans buying tickets.
So yeah....San Diego...bad.

Absolutely smoked me in the 400IM. In addition to being a world class swimmer, he had the best attitude of anyone I've ever known in athletics. It's been ten years since he passed away and I still can't beleive he's gone.

Unfortunately they've already stated that they won't actually be building any Hyperloops here due to regulations. Testing only here.
Some other country will get the privledge of having the first one.

Battlefield Earth. I walked out when cave men could magically start flying harrier jump jets.
3% on Rottentomatoes as well. Apparently I wasn't the only one.
edit: Avatar: The Last Airbender comes in a close second for unbelievably terrible considering how good the source material is.

Won't miss. His personal issues aside, I always felt Kobe was more ball chucker than death dealer. His game tonight is a living testament to the way he played the last eight years. All ball chuck, hero ball. That's why everyone around him moved on.

Bank of America actually has a maize and blue 'M" credit card sanctioned by the alumni association now.
Edit: I don't have a trolling story as much as I do tales of woe when encoutering Buckeye alum and fans
My wife's back surgeon, Richy Rich (I couldn't make this up) was an OSU alum and played for Woody Hayes. His office was a literal shrine to Hayes with a desk throw in to pretend it was an office. Normally this would have grounds for mass hilarity but given my wife's pain affliction, I played nice and just put up with his bullshit jokes about Bo.
When I was interviewing people to fill an engineering spot on my team, one of the candidates (who mentioned nothing about OSU on his resume) walked into my office and happened to have an OSU tie clip on, saw a picture of Canham Natatorium on my wall, stared at it for 10 seconds, and walked out.
I had a network wireless refresh project for our main campus infrastructure. The leading candidate to get the work had a sales rep who apparently is an OSU fan/alum because she looked me up on LinkedIn while we were discussing terms. We're discussing time and material costs and she just blurts out "Omg...fucking Michigan?!" She went from accomodating and professional to rude and hostile in about three seconds. Needless to say they ended up not getting the work and I had a nice chat with her boss.

Erik was an outstanding leader and just a great person to be around. His impression of Urbanchek was spot on and funny as hell too.
I can't read that article, although I'm sure it simply reinforces everything I remember about him.

Considering MTSU is only down 4 at the half after some putrid shooting. I'd say they have a pretty good shot.

You cannot cheer for a team that somehow, magically, convinced one of our incoming guys to flip and their coach just came off suspension for major violations.

You say some of the most context blind, stupid shit I've ever read. You truly have it down to an art form.

The Pac 12 was grossly overrated. I picked OSU and Cal to lose. Cal got their doors blown off by San Diego St. on a nuetral court.
By the end of day 2 you may only have Oregon and Utah left.

Reading some of the comments you'd think JB can't coach for shit, can't recruit, can't teach, can't adjust, doesn't prepare ANNNNDDD to top it all off.... injures his players. We should fire him immediately!!11!!1!
I understand some folks aren't happy with him but get a grip.
|20 weeks 6 days ago||I'm Sorry||
What? You are entitled to exactly jack shit super fan. Expect nothing less than what? Final Fours/Elite Eight rotations every year because *that* is our tradition (it isn't) and "We're Michigan"!?
Guess what? Missing the dance with injuries to key players two years in a row will account for missing the tournament. Not an inability to coach. The guys recruiting is a joke? You mean the same guy who brought in Hardaway Jr, Glenn Robinson III, Trey Burke, Nik Stauskas, and Mitch McGary? AND has a reputation for coaching no names into respectable players? Yup. Super terrible.
What the hell were you expecting this team to do without Levert and Albrecht? Let me relate this another way, what did you expect to happen to Michigan football in Lincoln when Denard went down? That's right, we were fucking obliterated. When you lose your #1 guy there's only so much bondo is going to fix. Was Bellomy supposed to come in and channel his inner Tom Brady because "We're Michigan"?
The fact that the team is 20-10 and is one win from the tourney is once again a testament to Coach B imo. This childish fucking nonsense questioning his ability to coach, recruit, or develop players is the shit I expect to see on scout, not here.

Looking at those 500 times was pretty depressing. What used to be considered fast (4:24) barely qualified for the 'A' consolation final. Those boys sure are fast yesiree.

Professors at private universities are well compensated on average.
None of them are going home hungry. In fact I'd wager that earning 136k (on average) anywhere other than California affords you a very comfortable lifestyle. As an administrator, that adds up quick when you have diminishing budgets. Five professors basically costs you a million dollars by the time you're done with payroll taxes, benefits, etc, etc you get the idea.
The idea that everyone should go to college is a myth and quite frankly reckless in many cases. If you go STEM, law, and medicine of course it's worth it. Outside of that? Have fun paying that off for the next two decades.
I really sympathize with kids these days who go to college, pile up a boatload of debt for no reason, target degrees that aren't worth squat, and drop out after a year or god forbid two years (which at Michigan would set you back about 100k+ out of state) with nothing to show for it and no prospects. So no, every parent should *not* want their kid to go to college.
