Aj Barner, Braiden Mcgregor and Roman Wilson are playing in the senior bowl which means they’re likely to declare. Barnhart said before the Alabama game that he was going pro.

Forgot to add Josh Priebe from Northwestern(OL) and Ernest Hausmann

The defense will be elite again next year. 9-3 is the floor depending on what JJ and Donovan decide. We need wide receivers badly.

More optimistic than me. I would say 7-5 is the absolute floor without JJ and Edwards. Oregon, Texas, USC, and OSU will all be more talented than us and Washington will be a tough road game even if they are starting over as a program. I don't think we'll actually lose all of them, but it wouldn't be shocking given the amount of turnover we're facing

USC couldn't win with Caleb Williams. Their defense makes Washington's look like peak 85 Bears or Ravens.  Talk about a soft program.  UCLA stuffed them in a locker this year.

Washington loses its entire offense and now coach.  Yes it's a road game but I'd rather that be the road game than Oregon.

OSU is going to be loaded - ironically QB may be their weakest position but their defense is effin loaded with all those players coming back and played great last year finally.  Oregon has two QBs to pick from and is going to be very tough. Texas will be top 5 to start the nation despite their losses.

Current form of Michigan unlike pre Harbaugh beats who they are supposed to beat vs the random loss to an Illinois here or Northwestern there.

We will have a really good defense and our DL will continue to maul these soft programs.  The questions for me are all on offense.  A lot of questions in QB room, WR room.

Oregon, OSU, Texas will be the season.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: anyone on this team who wants to head off to the NFL after this season has every god-given right to do so.

These guys climbed the mountaintop. They went undefeated, won a title, and in a lot of cases, have never lost to OSU. They have absolutely nothing left to prove.

As one Tampa native to another, best of luck, Jaylen!! You getting to McCord on that final drive may very well have saved Michigan’s season!

saw a bit on youtube that one of the defensive standouts found Penix in the tunnel to check on him and offer his best.  I believe it was Harrell.  These D players were so MF good together.  Congrats to all of them and all the best to Jaylen.

He made an amazing play setting the edge vs OSU and actually the following week saw more snaps than Ojabo because of this edge setting ability.

2022 he was again a good edge setter but not much of a pass rusher.

2023 he was a bonafide stud who became a good pass rusher as well and had the pressure that led to Rod Moore’s sealing interception.

Probably the most underrated player of this 3 year run.

He finally earned Seth’s full admiration!

Jaylen was a smart and instinctive player.  Rarely out is assignment or getting beat.

I will always remember his critical 4th down coverage of Stover in CBus last year.
