Is it me, or do Harbaugh and Dr Blitz seem to be enjoying this challenge, as opposed to the fan base who are not looking forward to this? I for one am interested to see what Don Brown and his Dudes can do against the triple option. Our offense will be vastly athletically superior and will score at will. It’ll be Michigan big in this one. 38-12
I’m constantly flabbergasted by the number of people with a college education who don’t know the simple difference between words like then and than. The American education system is frustrating.
I think this depends how close you are to him. My best friend passed away last year on St Patrick’s Day after fighting cancer for 4+ years. We are both military members (he was medically retired on 2013), and I was living in Germany at the time. He let me know that he was entering hospice care and I could come see him. Naturally, I was on a plane two days later. However, he had numerous friends throughout his military career who he was very close with who wanted to see him, but he politefully declined. To be in his position is something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Tumors had pushed against his spine, and paralyzed him from the waist down and his body was shriveled to a shell of his former self. Throughout contact with all of our other friends, I just told them to respect his wishes and it wasn’t about anyone else but him. The massive amount of weight it must bring to someone knowing the ending of their life is imminent is unimaginable, I think. Plus, he didn’t want person after person coming to tell him goodbye. What our friends did, was all write him a message letting him know what he meant to them. It was a great jesters he appreciated, but he expressed to me how massively overwhelming that was still. I say all that to say that you should really assess how close you are with your friend. If this is your best friend, go. If it’s not quite that, you might want to consider respecting his wishes. Either way, don’t let anything go left unsaid that you’ll regret later. Just remember that this is about him and no one else. Good luck and I’m very sorry to hear about your friend.
I’m Omaha for 8 years. They never served beer inside the stadium, but I was fortunate enough to sit in the box Suites a few times. If you were inside the box they served alcohol and if you walked out to the seats allocated to your box, you had to put the drink in a plastic cup. Guessing it is an NCAA rule at NCAA tournament events. Was disappointed to not be able to get one in Staples yesterday.
From Sacramento yesterday morning. Sat in section 105. Lost my voice. Proud to be a part of that crowd! That was fun! Worth every penny! Go Blue! Win the game!
That would mean we did well offensively this coming year, which is a massive upgrade from last year’s offensive debacle. I’ll take a coherent offense paired with a Don Brown defense that’s bringing back all but two starters and see what happens. This offense is going to improve significantly by another year of experience alone... I like M’s chances as good as anyone’s in the Big Ten next year.
Have been very good at Michigan. Ways still has a chance to be good, and Drake Harris was a big-time get at the time he came in. WR recruiting wasn't outstanding under Hoke, but let's give credit where credit is due.
Swenson doesn't have to make a decision on signing day. If he's not ready by then, he can push his recruitment out, take a few more visits, then decide.
We definitely tried to do some research of our own, obviously unsuccessfully. And I'm not too worried if people think I'm an a-hole for posing the question. Again, thanks for the help.
I moved away from Omaha two years ago, after living there for nine. Husker fans are the worst. 90% that I encountered were completely clueless about the football world outside of Husker football. I stopped discussing football with them after 3 or 4 yeas of living there. I agree, they can lose every week and it won't bother me. Anyone who has lived there would agree. It is quite entertaining to be out at a sports bar in Nebraska when they lose, however.
It's what I use here in Germany.. Not the best feed, but better than nothing. Make sure you don't download the stuff it asks you to download.. You can X out the screens eventually.

Meanwhile, water is wet. And oh ya, fuck Urban Meyer.

Ya, but he’s not sure he could tell you the difference in Iraq and Iran..
They good.. Uche is a dude.
Not to mention, we lined up Furbush in coverage on a TE on that play. Wimbush saw that and was going there before they even snapped it.

I've been following the site since 2008, thanks. Sorry I don't spend 10 hours a day on the blog.
