Welcome Richard Ash! Can't wait to see you in the maize and blue! But please don't forget your academics and study hard and finish strong!
I wouldn't say that I wouldn't say that durability is a problem at Michigan. Some RBs have the sense or know how of how to take a hit. By shifting your body slightly or moving at the last second greatly decreases the chance of injury. Minor either did not have this sense or he just liked to try and truck the defenders. Mike Hart definitely had this sense and thus was able to see/prepare for the hit which also caused him to have a really low number of turnovers throughout his career.
Adidas Adidas doesn't care nearly as much about college football as Nike does. Have you noticed that Adidas uses the same font for every single one of it's teams? I wish we could go back to Nike too, ahhhh!
This goes to show how Scout This goes to show how Scout tries to take the lead over Rivals by speculating on inaccurate information. If I had a Scout account I would cancel it and switch to Rivals. Scout really got my hopes up this week and it was an epic FAIL.
Thanks for the info It is still surprising to me that Rivals has not mentioned anything about it. Rivals usually waits until the info is 100% correct while Scout tends to jump the gun with anything they can come up with.
Tom VH can you please confirm this and make my week? I have a Rivals account and perused Scout but did not actually see any confirming articles.
aye Death Roh records
mmmm tonight its going to be me, Big Ten Network, lotion, and a 6 pack of Charmin
Brandon Harrison was one of my good friends in college. He and Mister Simpson were my next door neighbors in West Quad their freshman year while I was a sophomore. We continued to be friends up until I graduated. He was always a straight shooter and when Rodriguez took over he barely came out and partied with me so that he could focus entirely on football. Unfortunately it seems that he did not make the Indianapolis Colts' practice team. So we should all wish him the best of luck and thank him for his service at Michigan.
rejoice rejoice! now we can celebrate 2012 heisman winner Justin Turner, the 2nd defenseman to win!
this song was the first song I ever downloaded ever! Awesome.
The only fluff I like is the kind that goes in my sandwich with peanut butter and banana slices.
There is an idea of a Michael Barwis Some kind of abstraction, but there is no real him. Only an entity-- something illusory. And though he can hide his cold gaze... and you can shake his hand and feel flesh gripping yours... and maybe you can even sense your life styles are probably comparable, He simply is not there.
agreed he was just pulling a "Will Campbell".
awesome I went to that concert it was on Thursday night... massive amount of Cougars. It was amazing.
It seemed like the interviewer wasn't even paying attention to what Tim Hardaway Jr. was saying. It seemed like he had a set of questions that he was going to ask and was looking around and just trying to recall his next question while Tim was speaking. Awkward and awful. Thanks for the interview though!
Isn't "Domers" a slang word for condom? I may be mistaken...
mucho vacacion This is my first year working for a public accounting firm, and I get 3 weeks paid vacation plus 3 "personal" days. I also do not have a fixed number of sick days (as long as you use within reason). I guess the big 4 accounting firms are where its at.
the Ohio Department of Education is out to get JT for committing to Michigan instead of OSU! It's a conspriracy I tell you!
jizzed in my pants when I saw this
slot receiver depth is lacking
the correct spelling is actually BO$$
Thanks everyone I also would like to thank everyone for all of their input and for making another boring Friday at work pass by faster. Have a good weekend.
Thrillhouse, you are actually Thrillhouse, you are actually exactly right. To be honest I would quit my job in a second to do exactly that. I was actually looking for RichRod's email today and going to write him an email expressing interest in a recruiting job and attaching my resume. I am not even joking, I currently have a job that sounds really good but in all reality is awful. It also pays extremely well dont get me wrong, but I am withering my life away in a cubicle for 10 hours a day. So you actually nailed the underlying purpose of my post right on the head. I was curious to see if there was anyone in RichRod's recruiting team that pitched academics, and if there wasn't I would be the one to do it and find my niche and be affiliated with the University of Michigan football team.
Maybe one of the hundreds of Maybe one of the hundreds of people that read this blog is a team manager that recently graduated this spring and had inside information on the topic. Although unlikely, it was worth a shot since the purpose of this Forum is to facilitate conversation with eachother. Sure my statement was bold, but all of you need to get your panties out of a bunch and not act like its the end of the world when someone has a different viewpoint other than your own.
yup People are so quick to hate on one another even if we are all Michigan fans here. I don't know if its because people are bored at work or are truely, just well, hateful. 47 responses and only 1 person has answered the question that I asked, while the rest of you have completely missed the point of my post and decided to bitch about Michigan arrogance. I was only asking about how RichRod addresses academics in his recruiting pitches and yet some of you are so bored that you are looking up the credentials of UM faculty. Pathetic, get a life! People like Don are the truely arrogant ones who go through such extremes to try to put others down.
I understand that academics I understand that academics means sh*t to the recruit, but means a whole hell of a lot more to the recruit's parents especially the mom. Every recruit thinks he is going to the NFL and doesn't give 2 sh*ts about academics. I know this. Thats why the point of my post is that we should be stressing the fact to their parents who have a major influence on their decision. I acknowledged that there are a million other factors that influence their final decision as well. A good education from one of the top public schools in America is sure to hit the soft spot of any recruit's Mom, and thus is the point of my rant.
the greatest ever? After that win Pacquiao joined Oscar De La Hoya as the only 2 fighters to be world champions in 6 different weight classes. If Pacquiao beats Mayweather at the end of the year will he be considered one of the greatest in history to ever play the sport?
agreed GO PACQUIAO!
Harrison to the colts Brandon Harrison is an Indianapolis Colt.
