Former Michigan Athletes on MgoBlog
On a slow Wednesday in April, I was wondering how many former Michigan Athletes are on MgoBlog day to day. Mainly if there are any football players that read and contribute. Feel free to stay anonymous but tell us the sport and the years played.
It is always interesting to hear personal experiences of a Michigan student athlete with admissions, academics and being a student athlete in general.
I'm currently a walk-on on the football team. You and your internet friends are a bunch of a-holes.
Sincerely,
N. Sheridan
of the thread is *FORMER* michigan athletes, are you trying to tell us something?

Damn it Nick, get back into the film room! You are one Forcier sack from starting again!

We all know Nick's user name is "HailSheri", after that special throw that makes the bile rise in every Michigan football fan.

Do intramural sports count?
If so, I am totally a former Michigan athlete.

Probably shouldn't count b/c it would make me a multi sport phenomenon athlete who played soccer, basketball, football, and hockey for Michigan.
That would mean I... won the Long Jump competition at a meet, as well as a starter on the basketball, football, and (women's) softball team.

I ran in a high school track meet at UM's indoor track, so I totally count, I think.

i once used the football public bathrooms, and thats practically a locker room without a place to change into a uniform
...and people ask me if I played a sport. Does that count?
Yes.
Of the knee busting club.
I usually play basketball while rockin a M hat. What now SNITCHES!
Does beer pong count?
South Quad tug o' war Bush House champEEn here. That's right losers... feel the bile rise.
the national anthem at the Law vs. B-school hockey game. Err... maybe I shouldn't admit that.
I think there should be a thread on future michigan football players because i'll be on that list
UM's football camp while in high-school. Got to shake Carr's hand ( along with the other thousand kids there)...
I totally win.
And not to set off a debate, but for the record, hand-timed 40's are definitely fake. My laser-timed 40 at camp was really a ego-killer.
I played pick up football shortly after watching a Michigan game. Does that count?
1994 and 1995, before there was a varsity team.
club roller hockey, checking in

I was once mistaken for Graham Brown, by virtue of being a tall gumpy white guy in a warm-up jersey. Does that count?
And yes, I signed an autograph for the guy. I still feel a little bad about that.
Tacopants is transferring to ASU with Threet. So technically that would make him a former player who posted on this board before.
...but don't post.
explain this post then!!
was a UM athlete. Does that count? I would have professed my abilities in intramural sports but others already beat me to it, damn it.

that reminds me
I roomed with a pair of wrestlers; Steve Luke & Eric Tannenbaum.

Does anyone remember Sam Mitchell? Freshman power forward the year before Chris Webber came to UM? He was my brother's roommate.

i find that to be awesome. did you happen to wrestle in high school?
mis-replied, see this post
but people constantly egged me on to do so, I was apparently in a weight class they needed (127).
