A school that is possibly on the verge of getting the hammer dropped on them, and without a doubt the most frequent violater of recruiting rules. All this just adds to Brian's point about the whole situation. If the NC DOUBLE ASSHOLES dont hit USC hard then there really arent any rules. |

I think if RR gets 4 years he can get this thing up and running. But if he only gets next year to turn it around, then I think hes gone after next year. Think about it, this defense isn't gonna get that much better, plus all our tough games like ND, PSU, and OSU are all on the road next year. Where under RR we have only won 1 road game. If that is the case and RR gets canned after next year, Harbaugh makes the most sense. Despite what he has said about Michigan in the past he is a good coach. I would hope Miles isn't in the conversation. |

Lets see a coach in Ohio bashes Notre Dame, Michigan, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh. What are the similarities with those schools? I smell a Buckeye fan. People in Ohio already have a rivalry with the states of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Then throw in the 2 other most recognizable programs in the Midwest. Look not much has gone right since RR was hired, but even tomhagan would have to admit that he can recruit. Two terrible seasons and he is still bringing in talent. And all we have read from recruits is how much they love the staff/family atmosphere. I'll base my opinion on RR's recruiting by the results, not by some anonymous high school coach with no credibility. |

Living in Dallas and getting to see him in high school, i've always pulled for him, even though i'm indifferent on the Lions. Steve Sabol said that was the best audio that NFL films has ever gotten, and theyve been in business since the mid 60's. Its hard to argue that. That was good stuff. |

In high school he plays OLB/Weakside end. I would assume he doesnt have too much experience covering people. That wouldnt be good. We need LBs who can play anyways and he seems like a good athlete. Also I would assume thats a fake fake 40 time. A guy that size who runs a 4.3? He would have to be a 5 star. |

Thats just the way it is. I agree the defense is terrible. But RR shouldnt be exempt from criticism. He is the Chief Executive so to say of this football team. His recruiting, defensive philosophy, and the guys he has hired havent worked out yet. We all know he doesnt have much to work with on the defensive side, but you cant get rid of all the players, so the coach always takes the fall. Thats just how it goes. |

Ya and also what coach would want to come here knowing not only do you have to win, but you have to be a Michigan man or the Freep and the old guard here at Michigan will try to bury you. I'm alot less sold on RR right now and how can you not be? But I agree our best bet is to ride this thing out. The offense has came around this year. But RR needs to fix the D or that could be his downfall. |

I would also add defensive philosophy and recruiting. Using smaller defenders might work eventually but the recruiting strategy to load up on offensive players and the lack of talent on defense points to recruiting and developing. |

Yeah sadly i've lost all faith. We are in last place in the Big Ten and thats no fluke. We are the worst team without a doubt. I have been a RR supporter up until last weeks Illinois game. I still think he should get another year but like I said I have lost all faith. I dont see this going anywhere really. Next year we have all our tough games on the road where under RR we have won 1 road game in 2 years. 1-5 in the Big Ten and basically a 5 game losing streak with a possible 7 game losing streak to end the season? Sorry RR you just cant defend that. It seems like everyweek some milestone is acheieved by another team. Today Purdue wins at the Big House for the first time since the 60's. |
