My attention this time of the year is put towards all the good cycling races in Europe. The spring classic season is in full swing with Tour de Flanders this weekend. An epic Belgian race. And I'm never totally invested in any one rider. So I get to just enjoy the race and whoever wins I'm happy for.
Just got back from Marquette/Copper Harbor trip. Amazing colors and above average weather made it really nice. Hit up all the mountain bike trails and quality hikes with the dogs. Also spent some time in the Porcupine Mountains for a day. But couldn't see shit at the lake of the clouds lookout, way too foggy
The Alpe is a hard 1 hr effort. I like the monthly Sunday Fondo's they do. Or the Kiss100 sunday morning race. If the weather is crap outside on the weekend.
Zwift rides and races. Then get out on the weekends for a longer rides. Walk the dogs around the neighborhood and trails. And do some yard clean up around the house.
Local friends son also committed to the XC team this week. Joe Myers from Loy Norrix. Won regionals last week with a time of 15:39 in the 5000m race. His Dad has been a solid Cyclist here in the midwest for 20yrs.
He had a couple nice passes over some defenders and made a couple quick decisions. But also forced a in a couple passes that could've been INT's. If think he's more of a threat in the RPO's with his legs and makes good decisions on keeping it or handing it off. Does tend to get laid out and hurt
Will be interesting to see if Alaphilipe cracks and if Thomas continues to find good legs. Who can follow Pinot on his attacks and can he take enough time on Ineos and Jumbo. It will be some exciting racing for sure.
Crashed on my shoulder several times mountain biking and road. Broke collar bone and had AC joint issues. The main problem will be soreness and the ability to put pressure on the shoulder area. It can be weakened after a solid blow and takes time to heal. Hopefully he heals quickly and and deal with some pain to get on the field.

Kellen Caldwell is from Michigan and won the varsity race as a Sophmore. But races for a Fort Lewis College.

If you're still around May 12th. Try and see Billy Strings at Red Rocks. That would be my mine mission

My favourite Dylan era. Around the same time as Basement Tapes and living in the Woodstock area.
2nd down calls have been shit
Our CB's have been terrible at even looking for the ball in the air under D. Brown.

Hockenson not hanging onto that TD catch ended up costing the team for the win.

How about trying to focus on getting better every week. Something we can hopefully look forward too.

Better comparison would be Nolan Ryan not Tom Brady. If comparing age in the same sport.
maybe a couple WR screens plays with DB's playing off

Goes to show that Michigan's guys are tough outs. Good at putting the ball in play and fouling off pitches when behind in the count.
He should've consulted with the other Umps..terrible!
Quality at-bats. Keep it up
Livers needs to stay hot, and keep making those shots.

I'll be racing Iceman in the morning and drinking many Bell's beers afterwards. Hoping for something later in the day.
Broke a 12 yr drought with a win against ranked team on the road. That deserves muppets.
Here we go with the Fox multiple commercial breaks.
Haskins doesn't seem very illusive or smooth running out of the backfield.
I miss seeing Sir Lloyd Christmas Brady around.
If you know the pass is coming turn and take a quick look
