Focusing on PSU...

It's a pretty difficult task spinning the college football headline narrative in Top 25 2-1 Michigan's favor at the moment.

There's varying degrees of anger from the bad performance against Wiscy. The good news this season is MSU (in 3 weeks in Madison) and OSU both have to play them in the regular season also. PSU lucked up and missed out on all that slobber knocking fun.

Judging by Wisconsins remaining schedule they'll be 11-1 at worst, setting up a rematch in Indy with one of these teams.

Since we lost in embarrassing fashion, everybody concludes we suck just like the same Wisky team, MSU, and PSU we destroyed just last season.

So what will the PSU narrative be if/when we beat them in Beaver Stadium this year? Is their coach gone if he loses to us, MSU, and OSU for the second straight year?

PSU is actually a MUCH bigger game than Wisconsin due to our recruiting footprint, division record, and season sanity.

**Also, We play PSU in 4 weeks... Is there any way, with all the analysis our fans do with breaking down our own film of already played games, we could get discussions on PSU's games from this season?

Their defense is much improved, but their offense is much of the same and not as good as their final scores would indicate. They've struggled all the first halves.

hmmm, i'll try and be as analytical as possible:

1Q - PSU bends us over

2Q - PSU breaks one off in us

3Q - PSU bends us over

4Q -  PSU breaks one off in us

Final

Gapers - 44

Gapees - 13

Harbaugh's Lef…

I'm kind of really curious how this team comes out next week. I don't care it's Rutgers, but I want to see if they play with determination, focus and a sense of purpose moreso than how many points they put up or give up. Do they go through the motions against a far inferior opponent after getting embarrassed yesterday or do they fight for a sense of pride.

Im sure this will be unpopular, but its a fact. We have players acting like little pussy 8th graders and "liking" posts on SM that shit on their coach. They are so worried about being open and their own stats, fuck that shit man. So who knows how we will play. Harbaugh obviously is responsible for the shit show, but the players who fucking around on SM after that debacle are truly pussies.

I would like to add that while I love our players they do not seem to be playing very hard this year. They got punched in the mouth and then physically abused by Wisconsin. I mean WAKE UP! ITS  FOOTBALL! The good teams are going to try and beat us up! MSU , ND, PSU they are going to bring it, so get ready to fight! We had no fight yesterday. Mason getting sloppy with the ball , Patteron playing panicked, Players talking shit even when they dosomething positive and turn into a negative with a dumb personal foul, Come on!, we can do better!

I don’t think the players believe they are being put into a position to win and they are acting out because of it.  They aren’t pros, they really need coaching, they rely upon competent coaching to put them in positions to succeed.

Of course Mason fumbled the ball.  He has gained 30 pounds since last year, has repped exclusively at DT, and hasn’t played a down of offense this year.  You give him a red zone carry?  From the gun?  What in the actual fuck?  It was like a guaranteed fumble.

The players see things like that, they don’t have any sense they are being steered toward success.

Last time we went into a Rutgers game at home with lots of panic was, wow, just two years ago. And it started like complete and utter shit. Had to bench JOK and put in Peters.

Can't put in Peters this time.

Is McCaffrey alive? Not sure we can put him in after Shea fumbles/gets hurt.

Hello Joe Milton.

Not so sure about that,.I was legitamately impressed with Wisconsin. Taylor is the best RB in the country and will be in New york for the heisman ceremony. That was some tough hard-hitting football they were playing. I think they definitely beat MSU, The OSU game is at Ohio state though, that will be a good game..

Yes.

The last time a Wisconsin team looked this dominant, with a Heisman contending RB, OSU crushed them 59-0 with their 3rd string QB starting his first game, holding Melvin Gordon to 2.9 yards per carry.

OSU is dealing with a number of DL injuries, they had 5 on the injured list vs. Miami (NNTM).  If those linger, UW may have what it takes to eek one out if funny stuff happens.  But against a reasonably healthy OSU line, it will be a display of 5* athletes in space against marginal 3* over-achievers.

What we saw on Saturday was a very good OL against a very, very bad and undersized DL.  Yes, that's going to lead to a team looking incredibly dominant.  It also says very little about what will happen when that very good OL goes up against a DL that rotates 8 players that will all be in the NFL.

Oh god, you just made me realize that beating Rutgers by a few touchdowns will result in a week of fans saying that the team has solved their problems. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, EVERYBODY PLEASE WAIT TIL AFTER IOWA TO TRY TO DRAW ANY FURTHER MEANING FROM THIS TEAM. Rutgers can only be a measuring stick for how bad a team is, and not for how good they are.

Yah lets predict every game with a coach that doesn't have a clue..

my prediction is all losses...surprise me with a cohesiveness team that has heart and intelligence  .. ain't happening. Our coach is traitor.

Rutgers QB put up 304 yards on BC yesterday.  I wouldn't take them lightly after seeing how hapless Michigan can be.

This is a take one game at of time type year.
