The dude is a genious. His work has brought me to tears numerous times. One of the most memorable for me was when JT was fired and Hoke, Paterno, Bielema, and Dantonio were riding in the jeep saying "See ya later F'er!"

Pure genious. Crazy talented. He seizes a moment, finds the perfect combination of head shots and pop cultural references and splices them into a masterpiece.
The non college football blog community is missing out.

I think Yahoo is, by far, the best major website for sports journalism. They've got some terrific writers and reporters over there. I hope they keep it up.

Thanks for posting. One of the few times that the imagined story of such a well known figure doesn't hold a candle to the truth...

Those etch-a-sketch drawings were an eye opener. I knew he wasd a talkented graphic editor, but I didn't know he was actually such a talented artist in general.

Really cool to see the artist unveiled. It's also amazing to be in an age where talent has so many avenues to reach the masses. Do you think 20 years ago LSUFreek would be adored by so many college football fans? No, he would be just a guy - working in a hospital with a healthy dose of tragedy in his past and a bunch of Etch-a-Sketch doodles stored on his shelves. Hail LSUFreek and Hail internet.

Very interesting article, if a bit intense. Sounds like an interesting guy, but it takes a bit of the "mystery" surrounding the GIFs away.
