Slow day today on the board I see, so what’s your prediction. I say Michigan 34-27. I have a feeling Michigan is going to want it more. We are going to be loaded next year with all these underclassmen coming back hopefully. I wish we had an insider that could tell us some more details. They had a great game against ND. And MSU but to a lesser extent. We always forget about the great games - of which there have been many under Harbaugh - because one game overshadows them all. Also expectations around here are such that great games get filed more under business as usual and bad games turn towards OMG THE SKY IS FALLING even though we have about the same number of each (as one should expect).

Carolina...I unfortunately think you are correct. If you compared both teams, evaluating each individual position, Alabama probably has the edge 19-3...and us having the advantage in 3 positions might be generous.
With Tua out, we have the edge with Shea. That is the only clear cut positional advantage we have over Alabama that I can think of.

You could be right, but anyone who defends umbigdouche11 is suspicious to me, because he is fake as fuck. I called him out for not knowing shit over a year ago and with the help of his 10+ burner accounts he got people to turn against me just for having opinions he didn’t like. The fact that he showed up tonight acting like he wasn’t caught red handed is priceless. The dude is dumber than I thought. Reading his Chernobyl account comments is fantastic comedy. So, 2 things:
1.) I bet I’m getting downvoted by the countless people afraid of losing his “insider” takes.
2.) No offense, but you aren’t exactly my favorite poster either.. lol. We are in agreement on this though.
All-in-all, I used to enjoy coming to this board and I actually used to enjoy Umbig11’s stuff. Now, with the way he treats people (like calling someone a “pussy” in almost 2020 which is pretty telling about his character), and him flaming the program like a pissed off toddler have grown very old. The other night I probably shouldn’t have outted him, but I’m just tired and frustrated with what this place (and frankly he’s) become. We should be better than that.

I disagree. I just ran my numbers and they are showing Michigan winning 27-19.
Mind you, my numbers also predicted OSU would beat us 58-28, a win over MSU 45-9, and a loss to PSU 27-21. So far they've been exceedingly accurate.

If you compared Iowa and USC you would find Iowa had a “star” advantage at one position. Epenesa. Iowa fricking pantsed USC.
Michigan and Alabama’s recruiting rankings are closer together than Iowa and USC. We have enough talent to win.

I don't think that is a fair comparison. Just ask yourself in rigorous honesty, how many Michigan players would start for Alabama? Then flip the question...how many Alabama players would start for Michigan. The talent disparity is massive. It isn't even worth debating

USC outgained Iowa by a significant margin...but had 3 turnovers, to Iowa's 0. That was the difference in the game.

Iowa's Oline and overall Dline are better than USC's, not just Epenesa. Star ratings may not say that but production has proven as much. Iowa's young freshman RB is also quite good

Your point proves my point. You can actually have a discussion about USC vs. Iowa as to who has more talent. You cannot have that discussion with Michigan and Alabama.
Alabama's OL is better. DL is better. Haskins, at best, would be their 4th string RB. LB's are better. WR's would probably be a push.
We don't have the talent to beat them man to man. It will take something special, but special things happen. DB will probably give their QB schemes they have never seen. Offense could actually click. Game plan could end up being perfect. Mistakes and turnovers game might end up heavily in our favor. Gonna be an interesting game to watch. I just want us to look competitive.

They lost to LSU at home, not on the road. No ranked wins, home or road. Even without the pick 6s they still gave up over 30 points to a just ok Auburn offense with a true freshman QB. The offense is going to light us up, but we should be able to return the favor.

I think it will be a similar game to the 2012 UM/Bama in Jerry’s World. Michigan will make a game out of it for the first 3 or 4 minutes then Alabama rolls to a decisive victory.
