Who's going to The Game?!
All sarcasm aside, some of us will be braving the cold, a rough year, and other team-related "headaches" to cheer on The Leaders and The Best.
Who's going? Care to share where you're sitting?
Any suggestions for the newbies?
At the end of the day, this IS Michigan Stadium. I don't care who's calling the plays or who's on the field, that's a big deal if you're a sports fan.

In the corners, do the rows align with the sections next to them that go all the way to the bottom/field?
For example, is row 40 the same in section 4 as it is 5? Or, does 5 start at row 1 (which is halfway up the bowl) making row 40 higher than it is in section 4?
November 25th, 2013 at 1:22 PM ^
Row 71. And the rows are consistent all the way around the stadium.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:24 PM ^
My rows of choice (at least in the student section) are rows 25-50. Being up close is cool, but the view of the game is nowhere near as good as higher up, IME.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:30 PM ^
25-50 is absolutely the way to go.
I happen to be in the 40s, but in section 7...so I wanted to make sure that is still 40 rows from the bottom rather than row 1 starting in the middle of the section and my row in the 40s corresponding with like row 80 or 90 elsewhere in the Stadium.

I have season tix for section 6 row 40, love them. The first few years I had row 5 and couldn't see a damn thing so close to the field in the corner.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:21 PM ^
Section 23. Possibly the quietest section in all of the stadium.

I can edit just fine on my iPhone.
November 25th, 2013 at 2:29 PM ^
There is no edit feature within the app for iPhone. The only way to edit is to go to the actual website from your phone and do posting from there. From the app itself you cant edit posts. If you can, please enlighten us how to do so.
November 25th, 2013 at 3:16 PM ^
That's what I'm saying...use the Internet. So many people complain or mention that they can't edit or vote on posts when using a phone or tablet - well, every smart phone has an Internet browser - use that.

I'll be there !! Go Blue!
November 25th, 2013 at 1:22 PM ^
I'll be there, and I'll be loud. I have student section tickets (despite being a recent alum). If you're in the student section, try to get section 26. It always fills up quicker than the other sections, but it definitely has the best view of all the sections (it's between the 5 and 20 yard lines, as opposed to the corner).
As for newbies, my biggest advice it to be loud. Stand if you can (if you're not in the student section you probably can't for most of the game). Don't fight Ohio State fans (physically at least, we're better than that), but drown them out with your cheers/loudness.
IF YOU ARE SELLING YOUR TICKET FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT SELL IT TO OHIO STATE FANS.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:46 PM ^
Section 26 fills up fastest becuase the band takes up the first 30 rows or so.
Anymore the bottom of sections 28-32 fill up first as those are generally the section to get face time on TV and where the players will rush to at the end of the game.
I sit in section 25 because I believe that has the best sight lines as you are closer to mid-field. I'll be in the stands only because I cannot get a decent amount for my tickets.
November 25th, 2013 at 4:08 PM ^
Section 27 is the band section. Section 26 is the farthest over student section.
November 26th, 2013 at 9:15 AM ^
Sorry, you are correct. 26 is the farthest section over and the band sits at the bottom of 27/28.
My apologies.

I alway's preferred the endzone seats myself. Shorter line to get in, on passing plays you can really see things from the QB/DB perspective, and on running plays I think it's cool to see the holes open up in the line
November 25th, 2013 at 1:57 PM ^
Fair enough. It is another perspective. My only contention is plays occuring on the other end of the field were difficult for me to judge the yardage gained. I also had seats in the endzone, but that was before the MEGA screens went in, so that might alleviate some of my issue.

Coworker did that 4 years ago. Not a Michigan alum but he should know better.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:23 PM ^
I'll be there!
Do we rush the field after the game?
November 25th, 2013 at 1:25 PM ^
If we win, I'm not sure, but I think we very well could. It'd be awesome to spoil OSUs perfct season.

If M wins, yes, rush the fucking field. Too bad they won't win though. I hate the "act like you've been there before" argument. Our team is not very good this year and the buckeyes have won 23 in a row and ranked third. They are still playing for a spot in the BCS title game. We have defeated them twice since 2003.
IF MICHIGAN WINS, RUSH THE FIELD.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:59 PM ^
We haven't been there before (unfortunately).

I'll be there, sec. 24, with the fam. Go Blue!!!! Forever! Even when they are losing!
November 25th, 2013 at 2:04 PM ^
My gnarly face is indeed gnarly.
Regarding being a fan, I'm right there with you. I love the M football team more than any team in sports, but I'm not going to drive from Ohio just to sit in the cold, see 1/3 of the stadium covered with red, and watch my football team get destroyed. At least when they're losing by 21+ in the fourth quarter, I can turn the game off and go do something else, like eat leftover Thanksgiving food or watch some of the other rivalry games.

fairweather bandwagon fans like you Atroia can take a hike, we don't want you rooting for U of M anyways. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:31 PM ^
I had tickets available to me at face value three weeks ago, yet I was unable to persuade any of my half dozen M fan friends to go with me, Quite frustrating, and quite a damning commentary on the current state of the team (and on my friend's fanhhod as well I suppose). Nonetheless, I have not had difficulty in the past, even in 2008 and 2009, to get at least somebody to go to even worse games (MACrifices, Del. State) with me.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:32 PM ^
I'll be there. Section 3 - Row 27. Rooting like Hell to ruin OSU's undefeated season and run to the MNC.
I live near Cleveland. That would make things very sweet around here.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:33 PM ^
Section 23, Row 23 Seat 19 or 20.
November 25th, 2013 at 1:33 PM ^
I have a chance to exchange my tickets (section 7...in the 40s) for Indoor/Outdoor Club tickets in section 407.
It'll be my girlfriends first Big House experience, so I feel like we should brave the cold like true M fans. However, she's a Florida girl and I'm sure she'd appreciate the warmth.
That said, I've never been in the club seats before. Is it worth it? I almost want to do it to see what it's like, but I feel like I'm cheating on everything I have come to know and love.
#conflicted.
Advice and insight welcome!

If my friend who offered me tickets comes through, I'll be going, despite my initial hesitation. No promises to stay if it becomes a blowout though. I suffered through the 2007 game with injured Henne and the 80-some yards of total offense, so with Devin likely injured this year on an offense that generally sucks, I'm not eager to repeat that experience. Then I'll be getting plastered at Ashley's instead.
That said, my student years exactly coincided with the Moeller regime, and I well remember being at the stadium when our fairly mediocre squads would de-rail OSU's season. (XOXO, miss you, Cooper!) That was awesome.
