What in this picture doesn't belong?

Submitted by ndjames86 on

This past weekend I went to the Texas @ Texas Tech game in Lubbock. I didn't really care one way or the other which team won, so I figured why not wear my Michigan gear? I didn't get much feedback one way or the other, except for a few 'Michigan?' or 'How'd they do today?' comments while we were tailgating and on the way to the game. About midway through the 2nd quarter a film crew was coming up through the stands and since I was wearing my #2 Michigan jersey I wanted to make sure to get it in front of the camera. As the guys left the section after they took the shot I took a closer look and saw that their press passes said 'ESPN Road Trip.' I watched the game afterward to see if I could find myself but I couldn't so after some searching around finally found the 'Road Trip' video and was able to pull the screen shot.

I will have to say that I was disappointed overall with how tame the crowd was and how uninvolved the crowd seemed to be in the game. We were sitting right behind the student section but could barely tell when they were/weren't cheering.

Any other good out of place in Michigan gear pictures?

In order for your html img tags to work, you need to first "Switch to plain text editor."  Either that or just stay in rich editor and click the image button above the post text area.

EDIT:  I see now that you also were linking to the flickr image page rather than the image itself.  Here it is:

Your picture does not work, I would like to see it.

And no, I do not have any out of place Michigan gear pictures, or even stories, sorry.

Edit: Of course, I decided not to be lazy and looked at the page. Pretty funny how badly you stick out. Bravo my good man!

I wore my old away jersey (the one with the block M on the shoulder) to a Texas A&M vs. KSU game last year.  I did get a bunch of shit talked to me, especially one drunk ass half-naked sorority skank yelling "FUCK MIZZOU" at me.  Good times.

I would say that you probably should have put your hand in between your left shoulder and the breast of what appears to be a very attractive blonde..either way kudos to you supporting the blue away from home.

I would say the fact that you really didn't care about the game and got better seats then the 10,000 people in Red behind you...  Nice picture.  Well played...

I didn't read you writeup first and went looking for the picture right away.  My first thought was that the picture was of you sitting in the middle of a bunch of OSU fans.  My second thought was, how did you survive that ordeal?  My third thought was, hey, that blond is cute.  My fourth though was, I better go read the write up now.....

Have you looked at the Maize Rage during a game before?. My family laughs at me because I was ridiculously easy to spot amongst the sea of Caucasians at the games I went to last year. Also probably helped i was next to the M&M.

somewhere I had a picture of me sitting in front of the Horseshoe wearing my 1997 National Champions Sweatshirt.  A couple years ago I had an auditing class in Columbus so I made sure I was wearing maize and blue.  I got some shit but not too much.  I had another class down in Cinci but I decided to wear my Eastern Michigan stuff in an effort to trip up the hicks...

I'll be at SMU tomorrow night as they face TCU. I'll be the one guy in Maize. Might not stand out well in a Red-Out, but hey, like I give a shit. I'll be aiming for ESPN as well.

Go Horned Frogs!
