but I'd give it to Martha Stewart /GILF'd |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | I love it here, and |
can't really see myself moving anywhere else unless it was Cali. Been here for 7 years now, and it just gets better. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Well if our elected councilmen are any measure |
of the peoples voice, only 1 person voted in opposition. I attended the town hall meetings, and yes, while some were very vocal in their displeasure, many were not. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Being an Atlanta resident, |
I can tell you the majority of the residents were in full support. The city has agreed to fund $200 million of it, NONE of which is taxpayer money. This will all come from hotel tax, so tourists are actually the ones financing our beautiful cities new stadium. While I do agree there was nothing wrong with the Georgia Dome, Arthur Blank has built up enough goodwill in this city to get the support he needs for a new stadium. This will further put Altanta right up there with the best hosting cities for sporting events in the future. |
| 4 weeks 3 days ago | I see Bayern becoming the Barca |
of this decade. Scary team is just getting better. They will slowly phase out the older Ribery and Robben, replaced with Shaqiri, Gotze, Kroos. They are the perfect "Pep" players, short, fast and technical. Gomez is a slow plodder who will move on as well. Not to mention one of the 5 richest clubs in the world. |
| 5 weeks 20 hours ago | Exactly my thoughts. |
I laughed a little bit, because it is a little oxymoronic. By increasing their ranking with good showings and a good season, that would in turn increase our TEAM ranking. I get that they mean by going out and getting other top guys its about the team, but in this case focusing on yourself would be helping the team too. Of course none of this is objective |
| 6 weeks 18 hours ago | Wow. |
Never saw those video's of Ross. That man has the makings of a star. Reminds me of Ernie Sims. Undersized, but fast and packs a punch. |

Argentinian's are some of the most smug people I've ever met. I know that's a generalism, but they seriously think every other country is beneath them in South America. Also racism is an issue there, partly due to the majority of them being of Italian descent. (Italians are pretty well known in Europe as being very intolerant). Again, these are only my experiences, so not to paint a broad picture of them. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | Barry Sanderson? |
Was he any good? I bet he wasn't as good as Barry Sanders was though. |
| 11 weeks 2 days ago | I'm pretty sure |
that was probably since he's been on campus, much longer period of time. Especially once he tore the ACL, they typically focus on upper body strength and heavy lifting since he can't do much on his feet except rehab. |

Long suffering Liverpool fan here. It's like being a Lions fan right now. You just look for things to be optimistic about, but you know its all for naught. At least I have booked my tour of Anfield for April, meet with legends like Dalglish and Gerrard, go in the locker room, then take in a game with the Kop. |
| 16 weeks 23 hours ago | I live in Gwinnett, and attend many HS games here |
another thing people fail to mention is that this area is very affluent, and many pro players come to make this their home. At almost every HS in Gwinnett, you'll find ex-players sons playing in every sport. Orlando Brown's son plays for Peachtree Ridge, as did Cameron Heyward (of OSU). Richard Seymour's son plays at North Gwinnett. A HS game between North Gwinnett and Peachtree Ridge would have anywhere around 9-10 D-1 players in the game. They can also bring in the best coaches because of the support from the community (i.e booster clubs) |

| 18 weeks 2 days ago | I thought it |
was pretty good investigative journalism, and I actually tried to do some searching of my own to confirm this story. Definitely intruiging. |

You're all condescending assholes.

| 20 weeks 1 day ago | Not to start anything, |
because I really hate playing that card. Let me preface by saying I didn't realize 95% of restaurants in Tampa close at 10, especially on NYE. I made a reservation at 4star steakhouse (Charleys) for 9:45, since that was the last one they had. I arrived at 9:52 with my wife. We were told that they cannot seat anymore, but if i found a seat at the bar I could get served. (For context, I am a 27yr old bi-racial male with a non-white wife). So we left frustrated because at that point all the other restaurants had closed as well. So as we're walking back to valet, an older white couple pulls up to valet and heads in. The wife turns around and follows them in to see what they would be told. They were seated, so she proceeds to ask the manager how they got seated. All she was told was, "Oh, they had a reservation". Before she could completely blow her lid, I grabbed her and said let's go. Thankfully, I found Mitchells Fish Market was still open and we had a wonderful dinner on NYE, all things considered. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | I guess it was just a frustrating experience. |
I have never gone to a game without tickets in hand, but after hearing from many many people that these things are never sold out and there are plenty of tickets to be had, I guess i took a gamble. I don't have a problem paying for $150 tickets if that's what they are, but i damn sure aint gonna give you that 1 quarter into the game when all you can do is eat the cost. I saw plenty of UM fans telling these guys to kiss their ass. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | To clarify, the whole experience sucked. |
I was just curious about the ticket scalping. Scoreboards blow, concessions there sucked. Stadium in the middle of nowhere, restaurants close early in Tampa. Maybe i'm spoiled here in Atlanta. I will continue to follow UM in bowl games, just not to an Outback Bowl again. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | I like the sound of that, problem here |
in Atlanta is that not too many of the companies i work with have any reason to have Raymond James club suites. SEC champ game? Falcons? Peach Bowl? Can easily be had. Outback Bowl? Not so much. |
| 30 weeks 3 days ago | He's at LEAST |
6'5. I was right next to him and 6'4 Devin Gardner and he easily looked a few inches taller. Probably grown since HS. |
| 30 weeks 3 days ago | It seems to me that |
since the ND fiasco, Borges is playing not to lose, rather than take chances. He's banking on the fact that his players will execute, and that he will continue to call the same plays till someone stops it. I think Borges would call that Denard run for 4 yds a success, even with MSU overplaying it. |
| 30 weeks 4 days ago | Anyone else notice |
in Damien Harris' highlights, it seemed like he was scoring against the same team in orange? Those poor lads... |
| 30 weeks 6 days ago | It definitely |
Looked serious. Could be stinger, but looked more like broken collarbone or vertebrae |
| 31 weeks 18 hours ago | I thought he just picked random |
scores that the spread determined. i.e. 25-15 would be 10 pt spread
EDIT: too slow |
| 31 weeks 1 day ago | Do we really |
have to say his middle name? That always irks me. Did he get in trouble alot? That's the only time my mom called me by my full name. |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | Obviously Leyland |
isn't gonna let the ball touch any of his relievers hands. Verlander goes the distance in 120 pitches. Gives up 2 runs, final score 5-2 Tigers |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | Instead of calling |
him "Papa Grande", i motion that we start calling him "Caca Grande". aka spanish slang for Huge Shit or Huge Turd |
| 32 weeks 1 day ago | yes it was. |
Thank you for that. |
| 36 weeks 3 days ago | Agreed, |
I also can be as hypocritical as i want to be. Hell, as far as you know, I'm a convicted felon too. But i turned informant and only got 3yrs. Go Blue. Moral police, STFU |

Anyone else think he looks like Gary Cole??
