What a great time for the off week.

We are 6-0 with 2 road wins. There are certainly things to work on and bumps and bruises to heal. I think we can look for a few new wrinkles on the offense and tightening on the defense in 2 weeks.

Let’s not to forget to enjoy our season so far, it’s been fun.

I swear I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks rubbing our 6-0 record in every one of the haters faces.

Two sacks, one INT (that might have been All's fault), 6-0 record (7-0 as a starter).  I get the criticism....Cade has flaws and limitations.  He isn't an NFL QB who can make every throw and the allure of JJ is obvious.

But Cade has that ability to avoid negative plays, know when he has to get rid of the ball, make good decisions, and give his receivers a chance.  Before we all pine for the JJ era, let's not forget all of the heartbreak under Harbaugh with broken, in accurate, turnover prone QBs of yore (Speight, OKorn, Peters, Shea, Milton, McCaffrey).

I'm glad the team get NW coming off the bye week. It will be a opponent for a tune up and will give a little more leeway if the team comes out flat.

Yes. Let’s get the O line back to health and get Wilson back too. And spend every waking moment coaching up our young LBs. Their future is bright but right now they can really get out of sorts.

Agreed, right now my hopes are approaching pre-1929 stock market, 1637 tulip mania, and 2007-2010 subprime mortgage levels - yet it's okay - because winning two away games at  places where the fan bases are not moribund and facing down the specter of defeat has been terrific.

The best thing that could have happened yesterday, other than the win, is they get to taste adversity and come on top with some great plays. Offense responded drive after drive in the fourth quarter.

Bodes well for MSU and PSU games. We are going to face some adversity and the team has the "it" factor. Heal up, work on CBs turning their heads, LBs identifying right gaps, Cade and WRs working out the routes, better packages for JJ, and tighten up that soft coverage. Oh, don't forget to work on the special glue for WRs so they will hold on to the ball.

Glad to have two weeks of stress free football. Hoping a lot of chaos next weekend.

The announcers yesterday kept talking about how this was the "needed signature win" for Nebraska.

I think that's true for Michigan. Yeah, this team probably wont beat OSU but these two games have been "monkey off the back" kind of wins.

Michigan can win, away, against big opponents, in primetime, after getting punched in the mouth. repeatedly.

These are the kinds of wins that put hair on your chest, steel in your spine, make your balls drop, etc.

This season has unfolded beautifully for Michigan.  Two tough road games but two big wins anyway.  Team finally showed they can win a game even if they don't hold the lead the entire way.  Cade continues to magically avoid sacks and turnovers (mostly) no matter how bleak a play looks.  JJ has been getting quality reps all along way while being a true weapon during his limited spots, so we're not totally screwed if Cade gets hurt.  Defense has shut down offenses in every single first half (just gotta work on adjustments to the other team's adjustments).  Run game came back last night in a big way versus a tough run defense.

I also feel good about Sparty right now too.  Nebraska outgained MSU on the road, their defense held MSU to zero first downs and zero points the entire 2nd half of their game (MSU scored their only 2nd half points on a kick return).  We put up way more points on Nebraska than MSU did despite Nebraska being very desperate and wily last night.  Sparty basically lives on explosive plays (they don't drive the field methodically, it's either a long touchdown pass/run or a 3 and out).

And we have a bye followed by what might actually be the worst on the schedule in hindsight, as Northwestern is just straight up awful.  So that's 2 weeks for us prep for Sparty so they won't have an edge in that regard.  And even though the game is in East Lansing, we've won there twice under Harbaugh and just beat two teams on the road in games we'd normally lose.  This team will almost certainly be 7-0 with an amazingly good chance to be 8-0.  Imagine thinking that before the season started.

I will have none of anyone’s nitpicks. I’m going to enjoy the 6-0 start and likely 7-0 start that literally nobody had predicted. Get healthy for MSU. Depending on if there any further upsets, that could be a near top 5 matchup, but at least top 10.

That's why yesterday was...just survive. Doesn't matter if it was a Rutgers type game, 3-0, 32-29 or 52-51 like Ole Miss/Arkansas. Just when and get to the break even remotely healthy.

Rest up and figure out how to win out.
