When will the replay, umpire or weather gods ever favor Michigan??
November 25th, 2021 at 4:18 PM ^
I follow NOAA for the forecast for games (Pretty accurate). It looks like snow chances have gone from about 5% to 20% in the last couple hours, Here in West Michigan snow arriving after the noon hour on Saturday

Snow isn't until after the game fyi.

If Michigan loses, snow after the game would be a real kick in the nuts. Another soul crushing defeat, and oh by the way have fun driving home in a blizzard.
November 26th, 2021 at 8:00 AM ^
Or it’s like a confetti shower after a win.

I definitely needed four notifications to feel reassured, so thanks for that.

You’ve told me about the weather four times in the past hour.
are you my dad?
November 25th, 2021 at 7:17 PM ^
Or my better half…
?
November 25th, 2021 at 8:22 PM ^
So is there an 80% chance of snow?
November 26th, 2021 at 8:01 AM ^
Does anybody know someone who follows NOAA?
November 26th, 2021 at 9:26 AM ^
I don't know, but if they do, no way they would post that on here. I mean come on, it's highly personal
November 25th, 2021 at 4:26 PM ^
Does anyone follow the NOAA Forecast for games? Asking for a friend.
November 25th, 2021 at 4:33 PM ^
Also, can anyone speak to the accuracy of that forecast?
November 25th, 2021 at 4:35 PM ^
I was expecting the snow percentage to change every post.
November 25th, 2021 at 9:08 PM ^
It's consistent so must be accurate.

Hoping for a blizzard and Michigan’s DBs wearing white gloves and forearm wraps lol

I’m waiting for MGoWeather to weigh in.

M will win regardless of the weather, field conditions, refs, amount of red in the crowd, etc. M will win!

November 25th, 2021 at 6:05 PM ^
My app has a 60% chance! Only a light snow, however. Temps a hi of 35 and a lo of 24. I don't see any advantage to either team, really.
November 25th, 2021 at 6:19 PM ^
Chaos always favors the underdog. Whatever it has been in the past 20 years (perfect weather for late November games at least) give me the opposite. Rain snow sleet 20 below bring it all on.
November 25th, 2021 at 9:19 PM ^
Cold and Terrible weather should favor the better running team , which is Michigan.
November 25th, 2021 at 11:00 PM ^
Osu has a better line and multiple running backs averaging more yards per carry than corum or Haskins. I mean I think a game in which both teams run a lot is good for Michigan because it shortens the game and there’s less of a chance of a 60 yard touchdown, but by basically any per run statistical measure osu is a better running team. We just run more so have more total yards
November 25th, 2021 at 11:10 PM ^
Disagree completely. Michigan running backs all three of them combined are better than Henderson and nobody. Be better and stop writing shitty pessimistic posts non stop.
November 25th, 2021 at 11:27 PM ^
Yeah, stop with your factual posts backed up by data. Nobody likes it around these parts.
November 25th, 2021 at 11:41 PM ^
Their running game relies on efficient passing game. That aint happening in snow. Michigans doesn't really. They rely on multitude of running plays. See the flyover front page article bud before weak attempt at sarcasm.
November 26th, 2021 at 1:11 AM ^
Ok may bad, let's rely on anecdotal opinion since neither team has yet to play on a snow-covered field.
Don't get me wrong, I hope yours is correct.
November 26th, 2021 at 8:45 AM ^
Are you dense ? This doesn't support your argument. OSU running game is supplementary to their main course of passing game. Michigan runs with or without passing game. Michigan has the better diversity of running game AND RBs when combined. What is osu gonna do? Slam henderson into the line 50 times ? He'll be dead. Michigan has 3 RBs. It has the advantage in the snow. Oh and they can add JJ McCarthy as well, who is a better runner than Stroud
November 26th, 2021 at 11:50 PM ^
Chaos has the advantage in the snow. This is what you want. Give me the Luke Fickell of snow storms.
November 26th, 2021 at 1:43 AM ^
The OSU running game benefits significantly from the defense's over-concentration on the OSU passing game.
If the weather takes the passing game away, OSU is not automatically the better running team. They have not based their offense around the running game like Michigan has. They use it as more of a counter.

When is the engineering department going to get off their asses and develop a reliable weather machine?
November 25th, 2021 at 7:22 PM ^
Only if there is a federal grant to support the research; otherwise, it won’t happen.
November 25th, 2021 at 7:53 PM ^
Bullshit.. Have the Athletic department sponsor some undergrad senior projects. It will be done in 2 years
November 25th, 2021 at 10:39 PM ^
Boyne Mountain doesn't need their snow machine Saturday; it could be in Ann Arbor in a couple of hours.

Snow would be great, of course, but I also like a high of 36 degrees. Not fun to catch the ball when it's cold
