CU is fortunate to only be down seven. CSU kicked a FG on its opening drive but took a CU penalty for a first down instead. They then threw a pick-six.

the prior score by CSU was a tremendous call. halfback pass for a dart to the back of the endzone for a 30 yd TD. before that play CSU went up the left sideline for a 46 yd completion. Buffalo secondary looks suspect

Respectfully, you need to read everything that was said about Deion / Colorado. There was a lot of praise about what Colorado and Deion had accomplished after week of the season. Then, there was one remark about hats and sunglasses indoors.
Deion took that one sentence as disrespect - which it appears practically every Colorado player does if there’s any criticism of anything related to their play or Colorado.

What was it, constructive criticism? It doesn't matter how much he praised Deion, and probably meant it. He took a shot and he did it on purpose, which is why he said "I don't care if they hear it in Boulder."

This game is dumb. I get it is a rivalry and there was silly coach stuff during the week, but both CSU and Colorado are acting like idiots.

Yeah, the energy in this game is really weird, and really wrong. If the coaches were adults, they'd tell the kids to settle down and play the game. Instead it's cheap hits, taunting, and someone is going to lead with his helmet and get hurt.
This is not good. Sorry. I'm old, I know, but ... this is not good.

Well, Norvell in the sideline interview--which now happens between quarters?--just blamed the refs for one-sided penalties and also said it's a rivalry game shit happens (more or less). He's fired up.

I was almost of the mind earlier this week that Norvell and Prime planned this spat of their’s behind closed doors in order to work up the game for both sides.
I don’t know what other reason Norvell had to open his mouth when he’s got a bad team going up against a team that’s literally the country’s media darling right now.

I mean I don't care how good some of the skill position guys are for CU, losing the battle at the line of scrimmage so badly if that continues will catch up to them eventually. And then add in that the Pac 12 looks strong this year.

I didn't actually watch any of that game besides the beginning but it looks like from the box score Florida out rushing Tennessee by a large degree and 10 penalties committed by Tennessee was the real problem there. But yes, anyone expecting Milton to turn into a great Qb this year was being kind of silly.

I disagree with this take. Raising tensions is not the same as dirty football. If MSU or Ohio State hit Roman Wilson like that this board would collapse under the weight of the pitchforks and torches.
