The sooner the coaches settle on some ILBs, the longer they will have to acclimate.

Hope this sticks, and hope it is indicative of good LB play (as opposed to limited options).

Looks like Shelton Johnson is not going to be playing much this year unless he finds a way to tack on 30 lbs this summer.  212 for a DE?

And Drake at 181... le sigh.

Please excuse me, I've got a depth chart to update...

(Kidding, it's actually pretty accurate. Hill at FB, Wheatley at TE, Cole at C, and I think Canteen playing both ways (starting at neither).

He wears 291 better than I wear 175. When I saw 291 I thought "dude got big, he's gotta be on the line" but seeing that pic makes me think he still has a good shot at the AJ Williams role

I didnt go through the whole list but it seems like freshman jersery #'s are the only thing thats new here. I could be wrong but I don't think any of these weights are updated compared to the weekly depth charts and rosters from last fall (not the roster page on mgoblue, the weekly pdf with depth and rosters). I can't find them on mgoblue.com anymore but I'm pretty sure none of these changed and it looks like the freshman weights all match their 24/7 recruiting profile.

Another tight end with a growing frame is converted quarterback Zach Gentry. The redshirt freshman is up 14 pounds from the end of last season and is now at 6-7, 244. Gentry worked with the first string some during the middle session but spent most of the morning working with the younger players and backups.

This is one of the possibilities I am rather interested in, seeing Zach Gentry be an awful matchup for just about anyone at the tight end position.

Spring practice definitely won't tell us a lot, but it is nice to have football on the board with some regularity again, at least for a little while.

It's not updated

These are the game notes from the OSU game last year. Page 20 is the roster. All the weights are the same. I think these are the same weights they listed all season. The roster page on mgoblue hasnt been updated since last spring maybe.

First time I've ever looked at a Michigan football roster and spotted a fellow New Lothrop Hornet. #36 Taylor Krupp. Earned a walk on spot at the student tryout. Good luck to you Mr. Krupp.

Some of those weights have clearly not been updated. There is zero chance Shelton Johnson is the same 212 pounds he was listed at last year. Jourdan Lewis tweeted he's 185 weeks ago but this roster doesn't reflect that. Looks like the freshman weights are all generic. I wouldn't put too much stock in this at all.
