He was on the Doak Walker watch list as a sophomore (579 yards in 7 games). He had 579 yards as a freshman also (13 games) at 5.9 yds/carry. So, he was good during both years at Wake.

He knew he would get the full load at MSU and felt the offense was a better fit. Wake has another really good back (Christian Beal) who is a senior, so KW would be splitting carries there. Beal had the higher yds/carry last year.

I hope the team goes into Lansing remembering what MSU did to them last year in A2.

I truly want to see Michigan destroy MSU but I know MSU knows how to wear that chip on their shoulder a whole lot better than Michigan does.

i agree that id love to see a dismantling, but with a top 10 matchup as 7-0 vs 7-0?... ill take a win in any way we can get it.

I hope the hate/hype has been in them for weeks and they feel overconfident.. we dont know if mel tucker is a "big game coach" yet..  but if they've been slogging the past couple weeks waiting for us, itll be a heavy tilt either way.

Their transfers are making that team way better than it should be - the speed on the outside and the speed at LB has transformed them quite a bit.

I hope our OL is healthy and we get a 40 carry dose from Haskins + Corum for 200+. I also hope Cade stays focused and we can get him out to a lead so he doesnt need to play catch up.

WIN. THE. GAME.

Still expect them to pull a number of screen passes, flea flickers, reverses, and options.

If this becomes a plain, grind-it-out battle in the treches... we probably win.

Seems they don't have any big injures (like us missing Ronnie Bell and potentially Zak Zinter), but they appear to have little depth if any starters go down.  They'll be especially screwed if Payton Thorne misses anytime.  But I have to say, I think if this game becomes a slug-it-out, ground-and-pound affair like it usually does, we have the advantage.  We just can't let this become a shootout, but given our defense, I don't think that's likely.  Our CB's worry me against Nailor and Reed but our pass rush should give Thorne and a less than stellar OL fits and I'm encouraged by having Clinkscale to coach our DB's and the progress that DJ Turner appears to be making
