Mr. Pony,

Your attempt at turning around your contributions to the board is admirable. You made great strides but I think it’s time to take the next step. Don’t limit yourself to pithy remarks. Expand into full sentences. Multiple sentences. Give them meaning and original thought. I look forward to your next submission.

We shall soon see if it is the same old Sparty that we grew accustomed to under Mork or if there is a new level of caring in East Lansing.  But when you've been enjoying surfing the waves in the toilet bowl as long as they have, there is no need for high expectations.

This again?

Water is not wet. A substance cannot “wet” itself. Water is water. It is itself.

Also, most definitions of ‘wet’ describe it as a liquid adhering/absorbing to the surface of a solid. When talking about water there is an implicit assumption that we are not talking about ice. No solid = no wet

Big opportunity for Tucker to set the tone on discipline under his regime.  Don't know all the details but do assume that the Sparties would be thoughtful and understanding if this had happened to 2 M players......

Rough overview of the incident - happened early Sept - when season was still cancelled - at a fraternity house.  Perpetrators were 2 RSFr Linebackers - Luke Fulton and the Little Willikes (walk on).  Fulton was charged with aggravated assault and has pled down to assault.  Both have been suspended indefinitely since the incident.

On the field it could become a big deal as Fulton was slated for the 2-deep prior to this incident and they are NOT deep at LB.  (Per a MSU LB preview podcast I listened to just this AM.)

Yeah, it could be a problem. I don't think he would have been a starter, but he definitely would have gotten some snaps this year. If the LB room has injuries or covid issues, MSU will be in trouble. (edit: you could say that about any position group really, but especially LBs now that Fulton is gone)

Yeah - could be tough if someone gets knocked out.

Wil Hunter had Fulton projected at backup MLB or WLB on the podcast.  Noted that Simmons and Harvey (5 games after the Bachie PEDs) were the only returning starters.  RS-Sophs Klein and Boateng each have under 60 snaps on D last year and then the RS frosh Fulton and Lewis.

Actually not a huge difference from M - we may even be thinner on experience after the starters - but we do have those Frosh with all the shiny ***...so we've got that going for us.... which is nice

Ok, so I was going to make a joke, something like, "I've been to an MSU frat house, and I can totally understand wanting to punch those people."

The most Sparty part of this is that they were arrested trying to force their way INTO the frat house.

Completely nullified the joke I was going to make...and replaced it with something even more hilarious.
