ON TOPIC: FRIDAY POSBANG
Edit: David Molk days until football!
NEG and entire POSbang thread.
Could this possibly create an MGoBlackHole?
an MGoBlueHole?
...is here for the PosBang!
Stauskas eats Craft for breakfast, MAN!!!
Closing on a house next week!
America! Debt!
I tried to convince my wife to buy a trailer with cash and live there so that we didn't have to take on a mortgage. That conversation....did not go over well.
Taking timeout this weekend from any form of work that doesn't involve poping open a bottle of Heinken.
Basking in the glory of that Dan Cleary signing, getting some sun, doing some yard work.
Okay, so....you're going to see your lady, who I am assuming you haven't seen in quite a while, and you're gonna...play frisbee?
POS your serious dedication to the team!
Which may seem oxymoronic, but is true. I play for the best team in the state of Michigan, and we travel to tournaments across the country.
It's a real thing, and I think in a decade or two it'll be a lot more mainstream. ESPN actually broadcasts some important tournaments now (well, I think ESPN2...but certainly not ESPN 8, the OCHO).
Saw the lady last weekend for the 4th, but still pretty excited to see her. Also excited for the frisbee.
Well done young man. Just pulling your chain.
When does football season start?
Psssh, YEAH. OKAY Francis. I suppose tomorrow you're going to have a get-together to watch like, a fricking "SOCCER" championship, or some other stupid "activity" that somehow turned into this worldwide phenomenon without anyone ever having heard of it before.
FRISBEE tournaments. You make me laugh.
... But not too hard.
Absolutely NOTHING! And I'm loving that after this week.
Who else woke up Monday this week thinking "NOPE, NOT GONNA MAKE IT."?
I LoL'd... not sure why.
I'm going to spend the weekend on my boat not giving a shit about where Lebron ends up.
Tonight, yard work and some lounging about as I will have the house mostly to myself - my wife is working and the kids will be out with their grandparents until basically bedtime, so for about 4-5 hours, I get to pretend that I am in charge. It is the final portion of my birthday gift, these hours of solitude, so my in-laws say anyway.
Tomorrow, in one final act of celebration of my birthday, I shall make grilled tuna steaks with some veggies and hopefully have the entire dinner ready before my wife goes to work again.
Sunday, given the forecast for Saturday night, I might very well be back at my desk already - only time will tell on this one. Otherwise, the serious push to get the house clean and purged before my kids' joint birthday party begins that day. Also, Sunday happens to be my daughter's actual birthday - she'll turn all of eight years old.
Good one! I mean, sure, you're in charge!
I'm heading up to Mullett Lake in a few minutes with the kids to go to a friends' house. Poor hubby is on nights.
HBD to your kids and to you as well! As a side note, my youngest turns 9 on Tuesday! I need to pick up all things "commercial aviation" for him. Anyone have a Delta napkin lying around the house?
I have a few Braniff souveniers and some old Eastern Airlines stuff in my home office - actually got them at an auction when they were renovating the North Terminal at Metro Airport. My father found an old TWA Ticket Counter sign too. If he wants stuff from non-defunct airlines, we can't help sadly.
OT - Heading offshore for grouper.
I'm gonna wash and maybe wax the car today. Beers with my cousin on Sat and check out Planet of the Apes on Sun.
I fell asleep at Transformers yesterday afternoon. I woke up and there were dinosaurs running around China
Sounds like a typical Thursday night.
before my big race, half Ironman in Racine Wisconsin a week from Sunday. Some easy workouts, a little relaxation by the pool, some grilled chicken on the BBQ and plan out my final week before toeing the line. Can't wait.
Also, I saw a front license plate that said "A House Divided" with an Alabama and Auburn logo on each half, and I thought....awww, how cute.
Heading to Ann Arbor this weekend for a Rubik's Cube competition my son is participating in. The tournament is at the Student Union Saturday and Sunday. Today also happens to be the 40th anniversary of the invention of the Rubik's Cube so I'll add a second gif of the current record solve.
Clients seemed to have had more issues this week than the past two months combined.
As a side note, I take my profession very seriously, but people do not need immediate responses to emails at 11:30 PM. It's not life or death. Put the phone down and spend time with your family.

I need a beer.
I was at a client's location yesterday. First meeting went great. Second one was a complete cluster-f&ck. Then I found out a still different client went all space cadet and I'm cleaning up that mess today.
Helllloooooo, weekend......
Pay-day posbang.
And one more bang because it's my birthday damnit.
I suspected you weren't turning 3 and chances are you're not named Jacob, but here's another stylish option to adapt:
