Sounds like a movie I once saw. You can do it. I was the primary carekeeper for my three toddlers about 20 years ago. Now they're all in college or graduated from college, and I'm flying out to Raleigh to visit the oldest next week.
I remember my first weekend alone with my daughter. I was a little apprehensive, but things went great. Having reinforcements should be fun and give you something to do when she goes to bed. Now we have two kids, 3 and 1, rolling solo with them is no problem. I actually look forward to it. Good luck brother.

My wife and kids are out of town all weekend.. Going to do some visible chores around the house today. I have to make it look like I was productive. Then going to see some music tonight and a bluegrass festival tomorrow. Should be grilling out and watching the world cup on Sunday.
Normally things really slow down around here in the southwest, the snowbirds have gone back to Canadia and the Land of 10,000 mosquitos, the dry heat yields to "monsoon" season, and things get generally quiet. Great time to relax a bit and schedule time off, etc. BUT NOOOOOO!!!!! This year it hasn't let up, I am booked out a couple of weeks, it has been absolutely crazy. I am in danger of violating my life philosphy "You can always make more money, but you can't make more time!" Gonna hit the couch this weekend....

I'm currently waiting to hear back from SpaceX about an on-site interview, and I don't deal well with waiting. That means cloudy with a chance of whiskey this weekend.
I'm taking 15 lbs of pulled pork and 50 pieces of fried chicken to the event, in addition to homemade limoncello.
There's something wrong with that picture, though... We're a Polish family and there won't be a kielbasa in sight. I may still need to rectify that oversight.
Although I DID use Polish potato vodka for the limoncello, so I've got that goin' for me. Which is nice...
