Tom Crean on Pardon my Take
First off, fantastic interview by the PMT guys as usual. However, Crean also talks extensively about his relationship with the Harbaugh family and how it's made him a better coach/person, as well as a few funny stories.
Interview starts at 14:50, and a good portion of it is dedicated to Harbaugh talk:
And later tonight, Crean will be on "Pardon me While I Mouth-Kiss my Adult Male Child."
Like that lyric from Purple Haze, right?
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me, while I kiss this guy.
Pretty sure that's accurate.
This reminds me of the famous refrain...
"Blinded by the light,
Refreshed with a douche,
You know it goes between the thighs!
Blinded by the light..."
I think I've seen this bit before
Great recruiter. TERRIBLE in game coach.
Every time I see him, or hear his name I think of this photo.
Harbaugh should go and get Crean 20 pairs of khakis and 20 polos for Christmas this year. All in his correct size, then this would never occur again.
I don't get all the coach hatred. Only coach I ever really hated was Woody Hayes, but then I was just a kid and he is/was always mentioned with reverence by two of my favorites (Bo and JimBo) so what did I really know. Even Izzo I have to respect. Dantonio I have to respect his coaching too but I always want our teams to knock that stupid bitter beer face off his face.
Pardon my Take is literally the only good thing about Barstool Sports. Did you listen to their Harbaugh interview?
[Darth Sidious Voice] Do it!
Is that for every genius thing PFT Commenter does or great PMT interview, you get an idiot like Spags writing an article about Rihanna being fat, which drags down the whole company back to the level people presume they are at - clever sports talk with a lot of stupid, juvenile, mysogynistic shit. Until they can permanently shake that image (which they have made progress doing so far) - some people won't like them. Me personally, I don't care for them because they're basically the Patriots personal Breitbart during football season, and if you *dare* disagree with something they say, fans hunt you down like wolves online. I do listen to the occasional PMT tho.
My take is that they have a tendency to claim "satire" or "humor" only after they're called out for their myriad of shitty and offensive takes.
