UTSA is so winning this game.
And the NFL is awful. Any college sport beats its pro form.
September 4th, 2014 at 10:15 PM ^
This is the truth. Pro basketball and football will never be better than NCAA. I do prefer NHL over NCAA though.

I once met Knight and his wife at the airport with my family. We had a pretty nice and fun conversation with him for about 10 minutes. It made zero sense. Cool story bro.

This is like watching a Michigan game circa 2008.

A school I've never heard of in San Antonio, and I live in TX, has just blown up a Rich Rodriguez offense? I'm taking this TV back to Best Buy first thing in the AM.

87% of the public betting money was put on Arizona. Vegas is going to have a good time tonight.

Ok well seeing the first page of this thread i guess i cant help but offer my 2 cents. Basically I beleive that RR wasnt given a fair shot at UM and that we would have had better season the last 2 years if he was around. Of course the assumption is that that Robinson would have been fired. However, that was 4 years ago. Time to get over it, and support Hoke and his staff. This team is loaded with talent and recruiting is the main reason for that. Hoke is a great recruiter, now as long as the coaches help the OL progress throughout the season, there is no reason to beleive that this year will be like last year.

Dude, nobody care what your opinion of RR is. He hasn't coached here since 2010. Let the past be the past.
All I ask is don't be a 12 year old and call him names. It didn't work out here, its not the end of the world.

Seattle's defense looks scary good. If Thomas had just fair caught that punt he fumbled this game would be 17-3 right now.
September 4th, 2014 at 9:56 PM ^
Seattle's Dline has not gotten to Rodgers like they would have last year. The personnel losses there are already apparent.

That DLine spent all last year eating offensive lines and quarterbacks alive. Seattle's D is elite, probably still the best in the NFL, but they are gonna miss Clemons, McDonald and Bryant this year for sure.

Holy shit, Aaron Rogers just about had a meltdown on that last play. Lucky for him the officials gave him the timeout.

Lynch needs more carries....Wilson needs to be a game manager dammit.

Texas-San Antonio does not have the athletes at WR to threaten Arizona downfield.
September 4th, 2014 at 10:25 PM ^
Of note here perhaps is that UTSA is only down seven while gaining only 194 yards across 44 plays (16 passing, 28 rushing). The breakdown is 101 passing yards to 93 rushing yards, which is good for 4.41 yards per play overall, broken out as 6.31 yards per pass attempt and 3.32 yards per rush.

I hate watching an RR offense in the red zone. It brings back a lot of frustration.
September 4th, 2014 at 10:37 PM ^
And as much as I loved RR I hate watching an RR defense anywhere on the field.
Now that brings back frustration on whole different level.

A RR offense settling for FGs and getting completely shut down in the 2nd half? Here is my shocked face.
That guy is one of the most overrated offensive coaches in the history of the game.
