Yup, although courtney avery now has almost as much starting experience as TWolf at CB (5 games for avery, 6 for Wolf)....

He'll take the starting job back, but having him back for depth alone is key.

that he beat Denard in a foot race this spring. Stopping and starting will be the thing with him. I wish him a full season of uninterrupted play - he's worked very hard for it

The vast majority of college players don't regress as their career goes on. And while some may have their best season before their senior year, they don't normally fall off like Obi. Dude was a warrior and stuck through a tough run at Michigan so I don't want to denigrate him, but his career arc was an anomaly. Can't really blame him, it's pretty tough to improve when the guy coaching you thinks stuffed beavers are a good motivational tool. And doesn't understand the system he's being told to run. And has glorious hair.

...perseverence that's required to come back from such a major injury as the athlete deals with the physical and mental pain associated with recovery and absence from the team.

T-Wolf is an interesting young man and undoubtedly is tremendously (yes, I said it) motivated to make his RS Sr season a redemptive one. I'm looking forward to seeing him lead this secondary alongside Jordan Kovacs.

That's a good story about a gutsy player.  I hope this all works out for the best for him and the team.  I would think playing his final season in Coach Mattison's new defense will have him more prepared for a potential NFL future.  Maybe being injured will end up being a blessing in disguise.

Thanks for sharing.

It's amazing the things that animals can do. As someone who had a shitty day at work yesterday, coming home from work and having a dog just SO EXCITED to see you can really brighten your day.

I'm glad T-Wolf was able to raise $6,200 for the humane society, that Julius helped keep his spirits up, and hopefully he has a great Senior Season

I'm disappointed that his leg exploded last year, but in a way, it's better to have him for this year than last. It will probably benefit the team more.

Because of the positioning of "from last fall," it seems like it's a repost of an old article.  Figured it was just to make us feel good that the injury was such ancient history.

Other than moving the phrase to describe the injury rather than the story, could simply change title to "T-Wolf Recovery Story" in DetNews.
