I was telling everyone with me I hope he goes for 2 if they score and was psyched when he did. Once Michigan was within 1 score under 2 minutes I just felt like we were playing with house money. Great game, never felt this good after an OSU loss.

Right call all the way.  16 point underdog with a banged up QB and a way way younger team. Easy call.

I think playing a game like that should come down anyone who is nervous about recruits.

Also and not that this really matters, but playing like that makes Michigan look way more attractive to bowls.

Can't wait to see OSU get hammered by Stanford or FSU.  They are no where near the #3 team in the country.  Not even close.  And most of that team is gone after this year.

I don't have problem on most BH's call through out the season. The only problem i have is Al Borges' play call in those situation, this 2 pt conversion deisgn plan is a high risk play. no pass/run option. That's also very true for other 4th down call.

...because Gardner couldn't run. It was one thing to have him hobble down the field for a first down when OSU was in man and everyone had turned their backs, but that wasn't going to happen from the three.

Even putting him on the move was a problem, because he was having trouble stopping to set up for the throw.

With an injured Gardner and Wile in for Gibbons?  I think it was the right call.  And based on this thread and my Facebook feed, that seems to be the majority opinion.

Shame it didn't work, but it was a hell of a game.  This is the best I've felt after a Michigan loss in a long, long time.

It was 100 percent the right call.  I was saying we should go for two even before we scored.  We were never going to stop OSU again.  Brady won we back today .  We will be good going forward, and I do believe moral victories are stupid.  The kids playd their guts out and we played to win.  OSU is very very good on offense.  I never want to see Miller or Hyde again.

Absolutely a fantastic decision.  I was petrified when the offense came back out but it makes me love Hoke even more that as petrified as I was, he had ice water running in his veins.  Going into OT the game was going to come down to one play anyway, and it very well might have come down to a field goal by Wile, and he pushed every kick today.  The ball was on the three yard line in our hands.  Not gonna get a better deciding play than that.  All hail Hoke who not only poops gold, but has steel nuts.  So proud of our boys, including Borges.  Go Blue.

"Last game of the year, can't hold anything back now."

But seriously, that was the right call. Have to try and win the game, because it became clear our defense wasn't going to stop their offense if it went to OT.

even before we scored.  It was the right decision, but th play call was absolutely stupid.  Spread them out and give Devin options to throw to the left and right, with the third option to run.  No bunch up together on the fucking goal line where one of our guys bumps into a defender and takes himself out of the play forcing Devin to throw into double coverage.

Love the decision, hate the call. The stack formation is horrible. defend three receivers with one CB and then shade over both sides of the stack. There is no place else to go. We did them a favor. Lining up on the hash was ridiculous as well. We basically cut off Gardner's balls after he dominated the game for us. Sad ending. Love the balls by Hoke. Farewell Borges. Your last call sums up your entire legacy at Michigan.

Totally appluad that call and am so proud of how those kids played and how the coaches called the game.

I only wonder where it was all year, but you can't bitch about this game.  We almost beat the 3rd ranked team in the country and probably ruined their chances of BCS championship game if Auburn wins.  Auburn will most likely jump ohio if they beat bama.

There are always calls during a game that are questionable (going for it instead of the field goal when Wile missed before the TO, 2 point conversion).  They really had nothing to lose by going for it. They were huge underdogs and came in a punched the big bully right back.

Proud to be a Michigan fan.

Looking forward to the bowl game.
