This seems like good news, I would imagine he would say nothing about Harbaugh if that wasn’t true.

And still no movement in Vegas from the “big bad news drop” that supposedly is a game changer for Harbaugh and the program.

I will not believe that there is program destroying information out there until OSU odds to win the B1G improve to -600.

As an emotional hedge to this rollercoaster - I put $100 on OSU at +155 to win the B1G and Georgia to win the CFP at + 240

It's, IMO, incredibly good news. The onus is back on our accusers to prove somebody other than him was involved, which my biased heart believes is not the case.

This and Ono having a pair means Big Ten backs off and let's the NCAA investigation play out, rather than taking the unhinged route they were being encouraged to take.

The “what does Vegas know” angle hasn’t gotten enough play here.
There’s that joke that “Vegas always knows” . . .  then you realize it is not a joke. If some fucking hack bullshit reporter got an accurate leak that Michigan/Harbaugh was in real trouble, Vegas would absolutely know and odds would demonstrate it.

I still think the regs are so poorly written that it isn’t clear what conduct it intends to prohibit. No legitimate administrative proceeding would find it enforceable.

They specifically say sign stealing is allowed. Only person scouting is the prohibited conduct.

But what does “in person” mean? It’s very reasonable to believe that it only forbids in person scouting by the staff. And it’s absolutely reasonable to make that conclusion since there is other language that does say the whole section applies to staff.

Also, “scouting’ is not defined. In normal usage a scout is a knowledgeable specialist who can observe, analyze, and draw conclusions about an activity, territory, enemy, etc., then report their observations and ideas to whomever sent them. The people involved did not do that and probably were not capable of scouting in its normal sense.

I’ve also read some people claim paying someone to use their phone to record a video and then transmitting it electronically is prohibited. Since pretty much every team does now pay people to record videos and transmit them to the school electronically it’s obviously not prohibited conduct.

The only concern I have is that this is not a legitimate proceeding - it’s the NCAA. I have a bad feeling that they intentionally make the language vague so that they can interpret it any way they want, adjusting the meaning depending on how they feel about the accused.

He’s a god damn moron and hero all at once.

He had a dream, his delusions embarrassed our program, but at least he will fall on the sword.

OSU been cheating with bags for decades before NIL…we had a loon fan join the staff and look for a loophole / grey area in the rules.

The media’s thirst for clicks and Harbaugh destruction made this a circus.

It only makes sense that Stallons was invited by Mcllwane’s staff as

1.  He had the correct coach gear on

2. He had the secure pass that allowed him to be standing with he coaches

3. Mccllwane was a coach for Michigan and was probably familiar with Conner

4. This would be a reason CMU has been a while getting back on identifying him.

5. Conner was getting good at his craft

We have decided Stalions is the bad guy. We arent sure why but the media has still affected us enough to believe this. 100k fans and a national tv audience but this guy is taping the ultra private sidelines. He truly isnt the hero of this story but I think weve let the OSU pushed narrative cloud our judgement on how terrible he actually is.

I upvoted you to help you avoid what I believe is a misunderstanding. You were trying to kindly edit a typo so that the previous poster was more clearly on record claiming that "Jim Harbaugh had [no] clue what CS was doing."

(As opposed to the alternative interpretation that you were, perhaps, disagreeing with that statement, which I doubt but an earlier downvoter did not seem to notice)

As much as I'm petty enough to want this, it won't happen. This team is nothing but classy, gracious, and polite. JJ was captured by on field mics saying "thank you" to the OL after a TD. They sing "for he's a jolly good fellow" unironically.

They have and will continue to behave better than the "adults" in this situation.

"To his knowledge?" Either he involved/told other people on staff or he didn't. Seems like it could/should be more definitive on this very important detail.
