Do you guys remember how fucking SHITTY their entire fanbase was when we were at our absolute historical worst and they were at their highest point since the mid-50s?

Pride comes before the fall, fuckers.  I'll never forget how arrogant and incessant and vitriolic those mouthbreathers were when we were suffering through Rodriguez and Hoke. I'm going to celebrate every. single. MSU. loss.

They were flying high through the Brandon years, Spartans who never watched a single game suddenly cared about football and were the most sore winners imaginable.

I will always wonder just what Brady Hoke was saying into Dagiornotonia's ear.  Was it "my job is toast you won't have it so easy after this"?

That's how i feel living in Ohio my whole life. In the 90's there was gear being worn by decent fans. Soon as they start their run against us, the idiots that have never watched a game are everywhere. Shit's so annoying. Hurts worse cause they're so good.

most of my schooling was in Ohio and in the 90s. Most of my friends were UM fans but there were the diehards that clearly were born into osu families. They kept their mouth shut and NOBODY spoke about them or UM outside of that one day. Heck, I knew as many ND fans as osu. Now? A few of my UM fan friends switched sides (due to never caring that much anyway, wives, husbands, etc). The worst part is eveyone else. Everyone that loved football but didn't give two shits about osu is now an osu fanatic. It's a strange alternate reality down there compared to my youth.

BYU is going to test them next week. Probably torch their secondary, especially without McDowell for the first half. that LB Frey looked injured pretty badly too. if they are without Reschke, Frey, Bullock, and McDowell...eesh.

on 2nd down in the last minute of the 4th.

Would have been beautiful to see them get Hoosier Bobbed.

But it all turned out great :)

For Sparty it's now only about the Michigan game. Their QB play sucks. I expect a change so their offense has a chance to adjust. Their current offense can't get it done

If they continue to loose like this you will see all the sparty fans starting to put way their msu gear...tired if seeing msu gear everywhere. All of the sudden everyone is an msu fan.

with my 13-year old today. I explained to him that Sparty at #17, losing to Indiana on a screw-up, while Michigan beats the #8 team is really the natural order of things. But that regardless of how poor MSU might look, Harbaugh better have the boys at 100%, ready for all out war in East Lansing, because that is how things are supposed to be. It feels good that he is finally getting to experience what I have tried to teach him. The past few years have been like "But dad, they're actually really good." "No son, this is a nightmarish alternate reality. Something very strange happened to the universe back in 2006 when Bo died and we are waiting for it to be put back right again."
