First and foremost, thanks for creating these. Normally, we don't do this until the end, of course, but given the state of this game, why the hell not indeed?

As for defense, I couldn't be happier with ours - I almost felt bad for Rutgers getting only, what was it, a yard of total offense in the first half. I still feel almost bad that their sole defensive highlight to date was called back because the ball in fact hit the ground.

Loved seeing a speed rush off the edge from Taco, haven't seen enough of that to this point but man that looked awesome! Really showed great hands and bend as he came off the edge.

Not much from the DB's and I'm good with that.

Peppers looked good on his pressures, loved the fact that he earned that holding call. He tried to attack the OT instead of looping around him which he has done a lot before.

Did anyone else notice Peppers dancing to the music from his safety position? It was prior to the snap at one point in the second quarter. Made me laugh.

There's 8 minutes left in the 4th, the score is 71-0, and no sign of Lawrence Marshall. There's no way he's this far down the depth chart. He's either in the dog house or on his way out.

Raped and pillaged. That's about it. 39 total yards allowed, no first downs allowed until halfway through the fourth quarter. Raped. And. Pillaged. And I cackled with knowing glee the entire time.

Give Don Brown a raise. Or whatever he needs to remain happy. That was near defensive perfection.

Giving up only 2 first downs and holding Rutgers to 39 total yards. Are you kidding me? Had we held on and not given up those two first downs, it'd be safe to say that tonight would've been the best defensive performance ever in a modern era college football game.

Disagree, Michigan brought them in. Coaches who were terrible out-recruited much better teams because they were at Michigan. Hoke could not have gotten these guys at SDSU or Ball St and Rich Rod could not have at West Virginia or Arizona
