In the country. We are playing at the level of the big boys with lower ranked talent. Wait until we have a team of 4 or 5 top ten or top five rated recruiting classes.

Don't know how many caught it or were still watching at the time. But we just had stoppe them for another loss on third and long and I think it was a third string safety that was obviously out of position or did something wrong. Coach Brown, obviosuly not in a real polite way, let him have it. He didn't go Kelly or McElwain on his ass, but the message was clear. Think we were only up by about 65. Coach til the end of the game. Love it.

Michigan has won a lot of games this year by some gaudy scores, but most of those teams later turn in decent performances - I'm looking at PSU - The Wolverines made them look horrible but it is clear that they can play and have some players.

Harbaugh and his staff have turned Michigan completely around. This cannot be lost on the other rabid fandoms whose coaches have been fired or are on the hot seats.

for cans of Whup Ass on this weekend. I'm not certain, but looks like we used two weeks worth. Coachihg? Pass them all, what the hell. I'm a little concerned about Jehu though. He doesn't appear to be 100%. Any news on him....anyone?

People will say he was running the score up. Honestly, it was inevitable.

Harbaugh's entire coaching philosophy revolves around competition and meritocracy. The best will play. How does that translate?

On his staff, the defense is competing against the offense. Not allowing a first down vs. beating Ohio's score. Each staff wanted to do it's job and beat the other.

For the first string, not overlooking the game because "it's Rutgers" but preparing and playing like it was a top matchup. How many years under Carr, RR and Hoke did we play down to our opponents? It's not "running up the score" if we are treating our opponents with the same level of respect we'd give a Wisconsin or an Ohio.

For the second, third and fourth stringers - they know this is a game they will get to play in and they come prepared. This is their ticket to a starting position: showing they can not only win in practice but dominate a living, breathing opponent.

How can you fault us for winning by that margin if this is the system Harbaugh has set up? At this point he has no control of it. People know that performing to their best is in their own self interest and have a burning desire to be the best on the team at what they do. Honestly there's no better way to steer an organization. And what else would you prefer him do?!

I watched a game years ago -- I think it was Michigan vs. Hawaii -- and Michigan scored just before halftime. The announcer said something like "it's not running it up if it's still the first half." I thought about that for a moment and decided it made perfect sense. The trailing team could theoretically turn in a mirror-image performance after halftime. If you're conceding a game early in the second quarter, you have bigger problems than two-point conversions.

I just kept comparing this game with the loss at Rutgers two years ago.  What a difference with really good coaching.  The best part is this team will continue to improve.
