I honestly don’t care what the score is, as long as Uof〽️ wins.

I'll say we win the turnover margin and hit on a big special teams play. The offense continues to respond late into the fourth and the defense gives us just enough to escape with a close, hard fought win.

Michigan 37 - OSU 34

Go Blue!

In the scheme of complex characters, BuckeyeChuck represents the obverse equivalent of an anti-hero: the anti-villain.

That we don’t hate him outright causes us to examine our own capacity for empathy.

The complication of his presence counterintuitively adds emotional dimension to our lives.

We need you here, ChuckeyeBuck.

45-31 bad guys. Sorry, got to see it to believe it.

I do think Michigan comes out trying to prove they belong, they make some plays and make a few key scoring drives, but they can’t hold onto it for a full sixty minutes. Talent wins out in the end, and Michigan gets burned on at least 1-2 late big play drives from OSU. But they acquit themselves as well as possible.

This OSU offense is as good as almost any we’ve seen in the last decade, and is possibly on par with 2019 LSU. The QB may not be as good, but the WRs as a collective unit are better.

Cade is a very good QB and gets the ball out quick.  Harbaugh has to try to win this through the air.  If he does the OSU D may struggle like they did against Purdue.  The quick release kept OSU’s D from getting any pressure, and Cade has that same quick release, but is better down the field with intermediate and deep throws than Purdue.  T. Williams could have a day from his DT position as the C/G spots on UM’s O line is the weak spot.  UM’s issue with that is a very average receiver group, but with OSU playing mostly zone they don’t have to be great athletes.  This is a game where OSU should play a lot of press man coverage, but they won’t.  Michigan’s O will surprise people if Harbaugh goes to the air early and often.  If he stubbornly tries to establish the run it’s going to be a long day for the home crowd.  In the end, the UM defense just doesn’t have the athletes to keep pace, OSU wins and covers.

We jump out to a 21-7 lead after 1, due to two good drives and special teams or defensive TD. We try to slog it out on the ground, but backs keep breaking plays, and we win the 2nd 14-7. A quick strike TD from them happens in the 3rd, plus a FG, but backs strike back. We lose the third 10-7. We trade TDs again in the 4th, but they still can't stop the run, and time is running out. Last play of the game, deep in their end, we form up the V, and then throw walk-on TE Selzer his first reception (after having two called back earlier this year) on a TD as time runs out. 14-7 in the 4th.

56–31 good guys

Whenever I bitch or moan or say negative things about Michigan football this year, it seems to work well almost immediately after - sans the MSU game.

Thus, I am going with:

OSU - 77

Michigan - 16

EDIT: Fuck Michigan! Sorry ass school that never beats OSU.

I’m so jaded after our revenge tour where we reeled off 10 wins after a tough loss against Notre Dame and then went into the OhioSt game with a supposed tough defense and good quarterback play. I want to believe!

37-18 OSU or 31-27 UM. If we can punish their nickel defense with our running game, I like our chances to take it to the fourth quarter with all the pressure squarely on the favorites. Unfortunately, it seems our running game has gone backwards for the past month, so I'm not feeling great about our chances.

I mean I’m not going to put what my pessimistic self is thinking so I’ll go like this…

UM comes out really looking good with osu not so much. They actually go up like 21-10. OSU comes out strong in the 3rd quarter going up 27-21 and win the 3rd quarter 17-0. They look amazing in the 3rd and we all feel like “same old sh*t”. 4th quarter things get choppy and chippy for both teams but UM wins it 14-7.

UM: 35   OSU: 34

i mean…I’m not going to predict a UM loss here. Go Blue!

Heart: Michigan 45, OSU 44. We score 6TDs, 1 FG on 7 scoring drives. They get 5 TDs and 3 FGs on 8 scoring drives.

Head: shut up, head. This is a season of hope.
