Yeah they do. My friend went to validate a UMass ticket for $22 last week, so I would imagine a BG ticket would be slightly more expensive.

you cannot validate a ticket on gameday. just a heads up.
September 24th, 2010 at 12:16 AM ^
Ya you can. I did it last year.
September 24th, 2010 at 7:40 AM ^
Yes you can. You can do it at the union Saturday morning or at will call at Crisler Arena.

is that a new policy? i was un der the impression you couldnt do that. i'm wrong again!
September 24th, 2010 at 12:09 PM ^
no, it has been that way since I have been at Michigan. I have gone to the union ticket office when they open on Saturday morning a few times to get validations.
September 25th, 2010 at 11:52 AM ^
i never had to do that. but i thought i saw a sign that says "ticket office NOT open on saturday." momma's wrong again.

Yes. If you can borrow an id it doesn't matter if it's yours though. Technically it does, but I've seen people get in with ids from people of the wrong gender and nationality.

but Idk

It is my understanding that "scalped" means over face value. In which case, I dont think you have to worry about scalped tickets, they should be available under face value. If you feel like it, just go to the game a little early and look for someone on the street who needs to get rid of some tickets, not someone trying to flip tickets for money. My guess would be that you can get a pair for $60.

a random street corner dude yelling out "I got four", he'll quote you 20-30 over face, but if you offer him face and you're less than 20 minutes before kick off, he'll give it to you every time. Sometimes you can get them less than face.

I had some friends who were actually able to buy in Section 2 for last weekend $10 under face value 5 mins. before kickoff from a street corner scalper. I imagine if they had been 10 minutes more patient they could have got them for far less.

I was going for this route since my parents are using our (my???) tickets this weekend, but I received the most wonderful call just before I left work. A couple I know had to bow out of this weekends game and wanted to know if I would like her tickets of course I said yes! What and end to the day.

wish I was this lucky but unfortunatly I am looking for 3 but will prolly end up buying 4
September 23rd, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
trying to sell UMass seats for 40 each (face was 59) and I got 3 for 25 each. Seriously, 25 is the MOST you should pay for this game.

was it on the corner of stadium and main?
September 24th, 2010 at 10:12 PM ^
That's where I've picked them up many times

for $50. I think you should be able to wait, and get them off a random fan (rather than a pro scalper) for basically anything. $20 for a pair maybe is better for the guy who just wants to get into the game and get what he can for the otherwise useless tickets.

My buddy got EMU three years ago for $2.00 from a desperate scalper.

Last year I was stuck trying to sell my dad's two seats (40 yard line, row 50ish) while trying to make it for kickoff. I wanted to sell them for face, but some guy offered me $50 for the pair and I said "Sure, screw it, I want to go watch the game."
Moral of the story: wait until right before kickoff and get them for cheap.
EDIT: This was for the Purdue game, not OSU, but still, $25 a piece for those seats isn't bad.

I have two extra tickets for the game. I am STILL trying to take some friends, but nobody is taking me up so far... I think they are in the corner of the endzone about 50 rows up. I need to double check the exact spot their in. Repy to this if interested, and by tonight I will stop calling people and just drive up there myself.

just after kick-off. Have gotten tix this way lots of times. Probably not going to have multiple tix with seats next to each other, but what do you expect for $10?
