I need to try Flying Dogs more. I got drunk on some Flying Dogs a few weeks back around Columbus day. Stuff isn't that bad. I'd prefer it over mainstream beers like Bud and Coors.

I already finished my drinking for the night. Nothing crazy. Just drank some Bud Light while watching some basketball/Heisman presentation with some family.

but perusing tonight's college hockey landscape before I do.
#1 SCSU lost and tied to #10 Union this weekend. Look for us to move to #2 and Ferris to #3.

Western Michigan lost so the GLI will only have one team above .500.
It will be Michigan (10-2-2), Michigan State (5-9-1), Michigan Tech (6-9-5) and Western Michigan (7-8-3).

I really like Wild Blue but it's hard to find and everytime I'm in a store and I see Flying Dog I get excited and then really mad because the labels look similar. This happens often.

That 30 for 30 was pretty interesting, if anyone watched it. That series is one of the few things ESPN does well.

On one hand, this is Mgoblog so there will be strong bias against OSU, Tress, and Clarett. On the other hand, it did provide "his point of view", as opposed to the mainstream media just bashing on him for his suspension and decline.
I'm waiting for the OT Youngstown Boys thread so I can gauge more reaction. A lot of people in the Reddit thread claim that it's changed their opinion of the situation. It's sort of changed my opinion...but again, the movie was really biased in his favor.

I've been trying all of the Bell's that I haven't had before. Tonight is Oarsman Ale and Lager of the Lakes. They're alright.

But I could use a good vibe as I deal with high school daughter drama. Nothing in my dad-career could prepare me for what I will be dealing with tomorrow...
Have a good night y'all.

I put a little Bailey's in the coffee this morning to take the edge of yet another round of shoveling the snow. It also helps me feel less irritated about having to dig out the end of the driveway now the the inevitable has happened and the city has plowed me in.

Especially when you've spent a good part of the day digging out the end of your driveway, only to have the plows come through and put a foot or more of snow back at the end. And it's never the "light and fluffy" stuff after the plow does its thing, either. Can't shovel it, and very difficult to use a snow blower on it. Good times.

Being, shall I say, consumed, on these posts. I always thought drinking Coors was like, as the British put it, having sex in a canoe...(F*cking close to water) The only time I drank Coors was when I lived in AZ.I tried it for a couple of weeks then the novelty wore off and I went back to Bud. I have to say this was back in the early 80's and the only Coors beer available was west of the Mississippi. I have never drank Miller lite EVER but did taste it once and that reminded me of Coors. It may be less filling but taste great,,,,,,,no way. In my humble opinionated opinion.
