Because sleep is for weaks.
OkSt vs Arizona
Stanford vs Duke
Illinois vs ASU
Arizona is doing quite well right now. 14-13 OkSt.
Wildcats are hanging in their for now
ASU just went up 2 TDs over Illinois middle Q2.
and apparently the only way to get the ASU-Illinois game is with spanish-speaking announcers. This has turned out to generally be a good thing though.
Okie Lite- 14
Scheelhaasse INT at midfield
Edit: #8 is Osei, a 6 foot 200lb junior.
Yikes, Nebraska. Gone are Amukamara, and Dennard. Gone are David, and Crick, and Suh.
for arizona vs. ok state... any sites i can check out?
catch up on ol rr
The game itself can be found at
Channels for any of these games here in the Midwest? All I'm seeing is Illinois @ Az State on ESPN right now.
Me too, and I can't help but think how well Todd Graham's gonna fit in coaching Miami next year.
Old address, it's thefirstrow.eu now.
I tried this site earlier today and my pc blew up.
thefirstrow hates IE so use Chrome (my personal preference) or Firefox, etc.
Can you add the site to a safe/approved list for your virus scanner or web browser?
Make sure you have a decent pop-up blocker. A ton of ads come up on the streams but it's possible to keep closing them to watch the game(s). In some cases you have to wait 10-15 seconds before clicking a traditional x close box or a "close" button.
If you have a poor processor, often the streams are less choppy when left in small-screen and not full-screen mode.
Illinois looking like the poops as well, 28-7 Sundevils.
ASU 28 - Illinois 7.
Just curious if you guys get the PAC12 network back east and in the midwest? I'm born and raised in the Midwest, but moved to AZ last September. The PAC12 rolled out their new network in early August. So far, it seems like they learned from B1G's early days, and they are on par with the BTN coverage.
Anyways... watching OkSt vs AZ on the PAC12 network...
I do in NY (Time Warner Manhattan). I don't know if it's standard or because I also get the BTN package.
OkSt tries on 4th and short, turns it over on downs. Oh Casteel.
the OK St QB looks really sharp. What got me was when they stopped three short yardage run plays in a row with the 3-3-5. I do not understand this gappy kung fu from sensei Casteel
According to Michigan fans you should win 10 games with a freshman qb...every time.
ULM used it to upset the Hogs tonight. I'm really looking forward to the talk shows here in NW Arkansas on Monday...
Anyone know how Shane Morris played tonight? I know that they won, but I was trying to check out some stats/footage and I couldn't find anything.
Another Osei INT for Illinois. Just keep spreading it on, universe.
Is the Okie St/Arizona game on tv?
O'Toole of Illinois scampers for a first down. It's getting hot and heavy for them Illini QBs.
Okie State would have been a lot better off playing a team with a pulse last week. When the competition is that bad, there is nothing gained (except a W) and no development.
I get chills @ watching RR scream at players coming off the field, and the random special team derps of Arizona... As rough as our first two games were this season, I can say we're in a better long-term place with Hoke.
And Rodriguez is in a much better long-term place at Arizona than he was here. Good for him.
Okie State in a bit of trouble. 23-14, Zona.
What maybe coulda been. Damn you Casteel! That AZ D is swarming right now.
Is fun to watch. Enjoying it.
Trying to watch stanford duke, but stuck with directv and no pac12. Anyone been able to get "retention" deals from them living outside the pac12 footprint?
Arizona looks really impressive so far.
Casteel might just get that HC opportunity if this keeps up.
Went to a local HS here. Glad to see him get a shot and excel. Kudos to the young man.
This 'Zona team isn't looking too shabby right about now. This could be a big win for them if they can hold on.
The rich just got richer. This is an all out ass whooping.
ASU is really putting it on them right now. That was a horrible pick by thrwon by ILL. ASU looked good against NAU last week, but I thought ILL would be stiffer competition. Kinda surprised it's this lopsided considering the coaching changes at both schools and the attrition ASU suffered.
Their egos needed a little deflating anyways.
When it rains it poors.
The infamous RR screen pass goes 13 yards for a TD on 3rd and goal. 30-14 over OkSt.
2 OLs made their blocks and Casey did the rest.
That was a TUNNEL SCREEN, which we never saw in 2009 or 2010.
I went back and did some searches. I found an old FFFF that mentions the tunnel screen vs. bubble screen mini-controversy. Borges likes tunnel screens more for some reason.
Not true regarding the tunnel screen.
RR ran them here. Off the top of my head I can remember Stonum scoring on one against UMass.
As for Borges, he might not like the bubble but he's starting to see it's usefulness I would say. After 2 bubbles against Alabama, Denard's first TD today came on a fake bubble QB draw.
No tunnel screen's yet. Or throwbacks.
Considering it "always" worked last year you know it's coming...
