Sick sick touchdown run from the Cal RB

That was a great run by the Cal RB. OSU had some poor tackling, but that was video game-worthy.

Brendan Bigelow makes an 81-yard TD run, playing pinball with a few defenders and then accelerating to about Warp 4 once clear of the secondary. Nice.

Reports on ESPN2 said that Bo Pelini left the game at half time in an ambulance. No diagnosis.
Also Martinez fumbles x2 and lets Arkansas state back in the game.

being taken from the game via ambulance. Per everyone on Twitter. Pray that it's nothing serious.

Braxton reminds me of Denard last year...he see's the guy he wants to hit but he seems to throw at them instead of throwing them open. Seeing a lot of Buckeyes having to spin their hips to make what should be easy catches

Totally just messed up a punt and let Ark. State recover the ball (they were the kicking team).

Per ESPN.

Yes...That has to be it because it's a bit ridiculous, especially when the violation is occuring right in front of the zebra-SOB.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:22 PM ^
I have seen them give up big plays in all three games.

Must have been a troll on the app. Sorry for any confusion.

First, now that Braxton Miller is completing some passes down field he is gonna be hard to defend, especially since he's a sick runner and the size of a linebacker. He is gonna give us fits for two more years after this...ugh
Second, I was just looking through MSU's depth chart and I think they are actually gonna be better next year. Their junior class is really good and have a ton of guys coming back. On offense they only lose two offensive lineman, but return Maxwell, Bell, Sims, and all recievers. On defense they only lose their NT, Norman, and Adams. They return both DEs, DT, Bullough, Allen, Denard, Lewis, and Jones....disappointing they are gonna give us trouble for another year still. I'm hopeful guys like Bell, Bullough, and Gholston go early, but I doubt it.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:32 PM ^
Who knows how good Maxwell will be.
MSU is going to be a solid program for years. I think you have to assume that it will remain that way for the foreseeable future.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:43 PM ^
I get the feeling they are gonna have a dropoff once the current class of juniors graduates/goes pro.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:47 PM ^
toi being a top 5 Big Ten team. MSU has always had the resources and yes, tradition, to be better then what they were. They certainly have more potential than Wisky and Iowa. MSU is not going away. Defense is the rock upon which solid programs are built.

One can only hope. It would be nice to get rid of Bullough & Bell too, but I don't see them as the type of guys who will go early, even though I think both will be more effective pros than Gholston.

Maynard needs to go Cutler on his tackles...they are getting smoked.

...by OSU DB Bryant.

He just destroyed that poor guys knee.

Went straight for the Cal WR's knees with his helmet - knew it was bad the second I saw the tackle.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:39 PM ^
Dirty F-ing hit.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
...he's Aaron Rodgers compared to Miller. What a duck.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
The FG was no good, but as Christian Bryant is apparently just going to employ murdering knees as a defensive strategy, it is a relief to all to have him not on the field for a bit.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:41 PM ^
THIS is the OSU offense I remember and expected to see this year. Just ugly execution.
September 15th, 2012 at 2:43 PM ^
It looks like Cal mistakes are what's keeping OSU in the lead. Miller doesn't look good at all, and Maynard's having a pretty good day so far.

September 15th, 2012 at 2:48 PM ^
OSU is looking pretty damn bad. They should be losing.

Christian Bryant tackling people out of bounds after the 1st down and then trying to talk shit
September 15th, 2012 at 2:50 PM ^
Cal has a pretty good defense and it's showing against this Ohio team. I know the Ohio offense isn'texactly lighting it up but part of that is the caiber of Cal's defense. As the above noted, not all teams are going to succeed at stopping them like this and when teams don't have the outside players Cal does, it won't be/look this easy...

Spielman sounds so reluctant whenever complimenting Cal or conceding that they've made a good play. Homer

time to be impressive!

I swear 3 outta every 5 snaps is rolled back to Maynard; bad snaps.
