There is another perfectly logical explanation

He has used a beam splitter to divide himself into two of himselves at once. One of each will go to UM and ClemPson. This is fine and all unless we play ClemPson. If the two Garys touch each other, then the known universe will assplode. You know, just like PSU recruiting is doing this year. (Oh wait forgot about our PWO QB they flipped...nevermind things are still rosey for nittawny.)

I'll probably regret posting this, but my Clemson insider guy says he's going Blue.  Just sent me a text saying, "you're getting the big fish."  We've been talking about him for a while now.

If after 5 visits his coach and buddies coming here he switches to Clemson after 1 visit then I think this is probably a person I wouldn't want at Michigan. Stability dependability and being rational are important hallmarks of smart football players which is what we need.

a major disappointment for both OL and DL recruiting this year. We would have as many slot types as OL's or DL's.  Is RichRod back in charge?

Ah, that's where you're wrong. 93Grad isn't a Michigan fan. He's a spartan who concern trolls and blows Izzo and Dantonio every chance he gets. I'm actually not sure how he got so many points trolling or why he hasn't been banned yet

Here is my take:

Gary seems like a stand up kid. Gary has been to Michigan, 6 or so times, while only seeing Clemson twice one year apart. A few of Gary's boys are in Ann Arbor as is his former HS coach.

Michigan has recruited Gary as well as you can recruit someone. Gary has built relationships with players on the team and in the class. Gary and his mom speak on the importance of academics, Michigan is miles ahead of Clemson there.

Bottom line is I can't see a kid that has invested so much time in Michigan, and developing the relationships with the staff, choosing to go to a school that just popped up on the radar a week or two ago.

Crazy things have happened in recruiting. If Rashan postpones his announcement, then I will worry. If Rashan announces today, he's blue.

Agree with most of these themes but I do believe he had a longer relationship with Clemson than you are outlining.  This was not his first visit there i believe.  That's why i didnt buy the USC hype - that was truly out of nowhere and last minute.  He had a longer relationship with Clemson.

But yes when you hear him talk and the way he carries himself he looks like a "big picture" type of guy where the whole package matters aside from just football. 

Also the fact he was considering going to both Bama AND Clemson the last weekend vs just going to Clemson sort of makes me feel bullish - because if you were seriously considering that school as your final 2 you'd think you'd know ahead of time and want to spend all weekend there for sure and not be debating splitting half the weekend with Bama.

We'll see!
