10 points given up by the D.  a couple of big plays and not much else.  they're okay.

and with 1 and 4 losing, and #2 (ohio) looking weak as a kitten in evanston, we'd better be at least #3, if not #2 in the CFP rankings.

Another lights out second half. My dream of a pick-6 came to fruition. What a breakout game for Michael Barret. Gotta love the INT from Will Johnson. They stopped the run once again.

Game after game we make the best second half adjustments. Hats off to this D. Barrett is turning into a weapon as a LB. That is great news for us. Will Johnson is a player. We were missing a bunch of starters but did not matter. They clamped down on the feisty Rutgers in the second half. Proud of this D.

Minter makes fantastic adjustments In the second half. Really only gave up ten points, and then once again, thorough domination in the second half.

I hope Michigan is ready to open its checkbook to keep him. He’s going to be getting calls for HC jobs, if not this year than absolutely next year.

The defense not taking a step back this season has been remarkable. Not just the talent that we lost, but the fact that they were at some of the most valuable positions. I think the DL and especially the interior being dominant against the run has really made that possible.

The big concern is and will always be Ohio State. I do think we can control their run game again, but if there’s one QB/WR group in the country that can consistently make those deep contested catches that Michigan has given up it would be Ohio State.

The offense is going to have to play great complementary football again and right now I think we can. I don’t want to get ahead of myself because that’s how the 1st half happens, but what a matchup this is going to be.

The defense allowed 10 points, and nothing at all in the second half. A group of total badasses today. Need to lock up Minter long term if we can. The halftime adjustments are lights out, though his semester exam comes on 11/26.

Very happy for President / Chancellor / Dean Barrett and his picks. Will Johnson showed a couple frosh mistakes but then got his pick too.

Overall, Rutgers offense was like MSU's last week. Some 50/50 chucks connected -- annoying -- but there was nothing of substance. It's virtually impossible to run on this defense.

I love this defense.

Beware Marvin …. Will Johnson number 2 in your program is coming for you …. talk to Terry Glenn about the number 2 true freshman who knocked him off his pedestal!!!

Jesse Minter might be one of the best halftime adjustment coaches I’ve ever seen. It’s honestly pretty remarkable how many great defense coordinator hires Michigan has poached from the Baltimore Ravens organization.

Fucking mack trucks is what they are.  The second half adjustments continue to be stellar.  Jesse Minter is vying for the the best coordinator hire in a long long time.  Final judgement will be the last weekend in November.

Such tremendous coaching.

Beautiful coordination of talented players given roles and scheme to succeed.

Absolutely lights out in the second half, week after week.

Special props to Barrett - what a game! So happy for him to get his day to shine.

Well done! Go Blue!
