John Wall. Still has time to announce his transfer to Michigan.
I really wanted that 13 year old pee-wee star, but he's already committed to USC.
He may not be tall but he sure is slow.
Demar Dorsey to qualify.
MUST. WIN. NOW.
Lawrence Thomas. Half of it is just wanting MSU to not have him.
Omaba beat me to the punch on saying I wanted Trey DePriest, but my answer is slightly different than his.
I want DePriest the most because:
(1) we have a pressing need for talented LBs
and
(2) I would love to see Gholston and Lawrence Thomas totally bust at MSU.
Not that i embrace negative recruiting, but lets be honest, we all know its happening at MSU and its effecting UM recruiting to an extent. I would love it if HS coaches in the state of MI were forced to tell their highly touted LB recruits to "see what happened to Gholston and Thomas at MSU. They went from 5 star recruits to bagging groceries in Lansing for 6.50 an hour."
If it works against us, why shouldn't it work for us too...?
I'd rather have Thomas fuck shit up here than be a bust at MSU. But maybe that's just me.
I was only operating under the logic that we're more likely to sway a recruit who grew up a Michigan fan in Ohio than poach a recruit already committed to state.
If I ruled the world both DePriest and Thomas would have already committed to us.
Along with a host of other top-tier talent...
Minimum wage is $7.40, bro.
followed closely by Dee Hart.
Defense gets the nod on this one, especially since DePriest's other suitors seem to be Big Ten/ND, namely Ohio State.
Hart's gonna be in the SEC if he doesn't come to Michigan, so he won't be able to hurt us down there.
DePriest is #1 in my book. #2 is Hart.
What about when we encounter him in the 2013 National Championship?
Anyone who wants to play for UM... but DD is top of the list!
This is a weird thread title.
Only because your initial response was, "Whichever one looks most like Megan Fox."
I wish that was my initial response, but I had just finished reading the front page. Thanks to Brian, my first thought was of Marvin Robinson's throbbing abs. Ugh.
I also thought the same thing before I clicked.
Dyson Blades.
4.33 speed and his freakishly low pad level, you'd think he'd be higher than a 3 star
as a texas fan(for texas): malcolm brown
as a texas fan who likes michigan(for michigan): nathan hughes
as a michigan fan(for michigan): avery walls
not a lot of people are gonna pick walls as ur #1 choice but i LOVE this kid.
He reminds me of Rashad Knight.
Excellent topic, fun to think about.
I'd love Christian Westerman to jump on board and lock down that left tackle spot for 3-4 years.
I also like Darius Jennings, a super-fast athlete out of Maryland who would be devastating for defenses out of the backfield or in the slot.
Depriest, for all the reasons other posters named above.
Dee Hart, naturally.
And maybe throw in DT Tim Jernigan, future Gator and a force on the inside.
but I feel like these MD kids are getting better every year. Nice to see them representing.
I just keep crossing my fingers that one break Furman ends up taking the same plane as me back.
Edit: that last comment sounded less creepy in my head, but it still true so there it stays.
Lawrence Thomas hurt, especially after Gholston last year. As we all know commitments mean nothing before signing day. If they did Shav Beaver, Kevin Newsome, Dequinta Jones and Pearlie Graves would all have wings on their helmet, and Demar would be in Gainesville. Hopefully Rod can get him in for a late visit. Would love to get Arnett, Beyer and Zettel to get some in state pride.
I for some stupid reason criticized his passing abiliy until I spent time watching videos where he actually passed a lot. Braxton Miller is going to be a great football player and QB at the next level, he is incredidibly fast and quick, almost DRob fast and has a very controlled smooth passing motion with a cannon for an arm. He is like a combo of different guys we've seen like Pat White and Troy Smith but is more explosive as a runner. I just hope OSU doesn't land him, and we will probably take one QB this class so getting him would make my...year?
Others
2) DePriest which is obviously a needed position.
3) Christian Westerman
4) DeAnthony Arnett a.k.a. Mario Manningham II
5) Anyone from Glenville
is a highly needed recruit, i wouldnt put him @ #1 as athletic quarterbacks arent exactly a position of need for u. of course he is top 5 but im not sure if a qb should be ur #1
correct and that's indisputable the poster asked which player I want the most. Miller is going to be daaaaaaaaaaamn good..so I want Miller the most I guess. DePriest is really a must get tho.
eduardo clements
Clements was a class of 2010 recruit. Am I missing an inside joke or something?
We need a stud LB. I'd also like to see us land Arnett.
Buttcheeks
I want a @#$% lion. Seriously, I'd just like to have a 6'4" 280# kind of guy (give or take a bit on the specs). Maybe two.
Followed by other assorted lineman
We could stop hearing how RR only likes small offensive linemen.
What about Quinton Washington? He was/is huge.
You're 100% right, and yet every day some knucklehead blathers on about how RR wants midget OLs. It takes a lot of evidence to penetrate wood.
Ashley Judd. Michigan needs a hot, notable fan.
Well, if you're going to venture out on that limb, then you might as well put up a picture of Jeter. Who was committed to Michigan before entering the draft out of high school, and remains a fan.
For about a semester. He was my friend's roommate, for a little while, then get got the room to himself for the rest of the year.
excuse my not knowing random faces, who is that next to lloyd?
I think we can do better than Ashley Judd. Any chance Elisha Cuthbert, or Jennifer Aniston are Michigan fans?
Lucy Liu went to Michigan and I would assume is an M fan.
Trey Zeigler.
No single football recruit is as important.
I wish we were getting Ray McCallum from Country Day, kid can play, completely took over state championship game.
Kevin Williams because the D-Line can make what ever linebacker we end up getting look all world.
Lucy Pinder. I'm sure she's a Michigan fan. Or should be.
