RCMB MBB Theories

1. Phil Martelli does all the x and o. He's basically the coach

2. Michigan's top two recruits aren't coming.. Even though they have signed.

3. No way Michigan didn't practice all three weeks.

4. Howard is going to the NBA soon(even though he doesn't coach)

 All  good entertainment imo.

Thanks for posting those RCMB lowlights.

I simply don't want to go to that toxic website 2 straight days, so thanks for your bravery, OP.

Make sure you all disinfect and sanitize, those who dare descend into that lair of the unwashed!

Some people won't like this at all, but IDGAF

It's rascist AF that people think Martelli is somehow the brains behind everything. JH was a 3 year D1 player, a 20 year NBA player, groomed to be a coach his last 5-10 years prior to coming to Michigan.

No one would ever say this about a white coach with thin-ass resume that these guys sometimes have when they get their 1st job (*glances toward East Lansing*) Let alone a 25 year career in the league.

I don’t necessarily agree at all.  Not every slight against a successful person in the minority is driven by racism. They are jealous of his success. Ad hominem attacks are par for the course when you cannot find an argument with any merit.

But, let me make it clear, I think Juwan Howard is a brilliant human-being and coach. And Martelli is both of those things as well. We are so fortunate to have both. Hiring Martelli is just another evidence of Juwan’s genius. When Martelli moves on or retires, Juwan will continue to excel, because he is an excellent coach.

He has 6 kids with 4 different women, two of which with his current wife, Juwan Jr he had when he was still at Michigan (or maybe a rookie in the NBA?), and I've never heard about any of that other stuff.

Funny a Sparty fan trying to call someone out on rape allegations though.  Glass houses and what not.

I looked up a couple of the other claims and they mostly stemmed from a series of lawsuits filed in the late 90s against him, all of which were (seemingly) either dismissed or found for Howard.  Again, I don't like digging too deeply into the merits of sexual assault lawsuit handling in the late 90s because society is terrible at it properly handling them now and the 90s were even worse, but it's crazy to me that these people have intimate knowledge of these lawsuits and yet, like, think Howard was the main villain of the Fab 5 situation.

I agree, and to add on, it's not necessary to know the intent to know whether something is racist. The impact of the comment is harmful towards Black people because it pushes a stereotypical assumption. That doesn't mean the comment was bigoted, but it was racist. You can be a nice person who does racist things sometimes.

Howard had a reputation in the NBA for being a "future head coach" and an incredibly intelligent person, so there is literally no basis for suggesting he doesn't know Xs and Os beyond the fact that he is black.

After his introductory press conference I saw dozens of tweets from MSU fans mocking the way he talks. It's becoming increasingly difficult to dismiss their fan behavior as simple rival trash talking.
