RCMB challenges MGoBlog to game of flag football

Hmm...I still play hoops on the regular, I'm sure I could dust off the 97 Jerry Rice gloves and catch a few balls. I say bring it.

They call the blog, "MGoBlow"? Is this real life? Everything about that program, from their fans to their coach needs abolished.

As a father, the only thing I fear for my children is them having any association with that piece of shit university.

Makes sense for them as all RCMB readers and MSU fans reside in Michigan and don't have much else to do. It'd be easy to get a team toghether. 

Is this what the world is coming to, message boards comprised largely of 30-something-year-old men challenging each other to football games?

For lurking the RCMB, linking the RCMB, and especially for thinking that the idiots who regularly post there could coordinate such an event.

I don't associate with their type, so count me out.

Should we schedule directly or with their parole officers?

Other than the fact that I am in Florida I would be down. I was a decent lineman back in my day and tend to dominate when we play intramural here on base.

I'd like to see the tryouts for this team.

We shouldn't post anything (UFRs, Diaries, message board topics) until MGoBlog defeats RCMB and Eleven Warriors.

Wait there is also a message board called Mgoblow or  are they  that bad at spelling over there ?

Something tells me they'd purposely fumble punts in an excuse to bring up last year.

How about we see if we can somehow get an annual Michigan  Vs Sparty flag football game between former players ?

I know it will be hard to do since most of the Michigan former players will be hard at work running large companies .

So I guess the Staee team is going to have to get weekend release from the penitentiary for this to happen. Should we help with the letter writing campaign?

I mean, I know what kind of dysfunctional rejects we are. Those guys must be like a roving band of Toxic Avengers.

Every year the Michigan Daily and the MSU student paper sports writers play against each other (or at least they did in my day.)    I rode up one year in a car with Rich Eisen, Adam Schefter* and Mike Gill, who was the sports editor.

We got killed by MSU.

 

*Not sure if Schefter was in my car, but he did play.

The answer is and always will be: Fuck Michigan State.  Repeatedly.

Humanity would shine through and it would be a fun game. We may all post a lot of homerism stuff and dislike MSU, but everyone here has close friends that are Spartans. 

If someone got that mad about a message board and started playing dirty, then bleh. But I would expect everyone involved to be cool and it would be fun.
