KC offense is fierce.
KC 14 - BAL 7
January 28th, 2024 at 3:50 PM ^
That's a fumble. Butt-clench time for the Ravens.
January 28th, 2024 at 3:51 PM ^
I'm surprised by how bad that Ravens defense is getting bullied.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:00 PM ^
yeah...feelin' a lil bit better about the Bills after this
January 28th, 2024 at 3:52 PM ^
No more Taylor Swift or I’m gonna puke.
January 28th, 2024 at 3:59 PM ^
Keep KC out of the endzone = keep the camera off of Swift.
January 28th, 2024 at 3:52 PM ^
Maybe MacDonald will come back to Michigan if the Ravens lose big today.
January 28th, 2024 at 3:59 PM ^
Wow! What a 4th down stop by the Ravens. They needed that desperately.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:02 PM ^
These two QBs are INSANE!!
January 28th, 2024 at 4:06 PM ^
I’ve been trying to call run/pass by watching the Chiefs’ RT. Getting pretty good at it.
It’s not as obvious as the Lions’ season opener…but it’s still there. Dude has learned that he just isn’t going to get called for shenanigans.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:21 PM ^
Geoff Schwartz commented on OLs tipping plays a couple of weeks ago. His argument, from experience, was basically: Yes, sometimes, but all you need is an occasional change-up to keep defenders honest, and it doesn't matter, because they have to play it honest just in case.
Sort of the equivalent of the occasional QB pull to keep the edge honest.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:19 PM ^
Nantz and Romo are so awful. They should be hosting The View.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:33 PM ^
always screaming and trying to make drama about everything
January 28th, 2024 at 4:57 PM ^
Romo is the worst. Dude needs to stfu.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:20 PM ^
Lamar can’t pass. When the competition gets tougher in the playoffs he wilts.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:20 PM ^
Both Harbaughs are going to have to deal with a Mahomes-sized obstacle for years in addition to the numerous other great QBs in the AFC.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:39 PM ^
Yeah, Mahomes has 15 more years! This may block JH from his Super Bowl dreams! Along with his brother’s Raven team as well!
January 28th, 2024 at 4:53 PM ^
He's a problem and if he doesn't turn the ball over, night night. It's been a while since someone of his caliber of improvising skills, intangibles and fire has been this consistent. Doing this against the Ravens defense is just absurd.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:24 PM ^
Had to cut off the "Bullshit" crowd chant there real quick...
January 28th, 2024 at 4:26 PM ^
Id be ok watching Kelce get horrifically injured this game. His whole tough guy instigator act is laughable.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:45 PM ^
Ok... Well that's one way to go.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:31 PM ^
Guessing you're a Bengals fan
January 28th, 2024 at 4:27 PM ^
Swift at 0:36 in the second quarter.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:01 PM ^
Is it weird that I strangely feel sort of bad for T. Swift and the vitriol she's received? Since the beginning of her attending her boyfriend's games, has she even publicly commented on her attendance or anything Chiefs-related? Unless I'm missing something, all she's done has attended Kelce's games and cheered for her guy in a suite. Not sure she can control the network's camera guys zooming in every 2-3 minutes.
Although I'm sure she'll compose an entire album about it soon.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:03 PM ^
People suck. It’s fine.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:39 PM ^
it's weird
January 28th, 2024 at 4:31 PM ^
Wow, the Ravens zone is leaking a lot!
January 28th, 2024 at 4:49 PM ^
Not sure which Bal coordinator is having a worse afternoon. Probably Monken. No commitment to establish the run.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:53 PM ^
KC just has too many guys charging downhill on the standard down runs.
January 28th, 2024 at 4:54 PM ^
I’ll say this much - I hope we import SOMEBODY from the Ravens’ offensive staff. They look A LOT like our best case scenario for next year (i.e., an offense built around a dual-threat QB paired with an elite OL and TE, and smaller WRs whose games are predicated on being speedy and slippery. They even have a speed-based RB named Edwards!).
January 28th, 2024 at 4:55 PM ^
Greg Roman if he doesn’t go with Jim to the Chargers?
January 28th, 2024 at 5:11 PM ^
Greg Roman would be an acceptable hire, though he's a weird case where he really normalized a lot of great concepts in the NFL but then his offenses tend to grind down as they get figured out and he (allegedly, per commentators) has trouble being flexible and adjusting.
That said, I wouldn't be shocked if Harbaugh hired him in LA.
To be honest, though, I feel like Sherrone has absorbed the key lessons from the Ravens staff. I don't consider it a concidence that our run concepts levelled up when he became the OL coach, and that's true even if that was with pointers brought across the river from Matt Weiss.
Edit: And I think Roman is at best ok; I think I heard at some point that he's not really a recruiter? He has real pluses but also some minuses.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:59 PM ^
Nah. If Roman were coming to UM, I imagine he would’ve done so as an analyst while Jim was still here. He’s almost certainly heading to LA, though ideally not as the primary play caller.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:00 PM ^
So far this game is showing that only 1 of these teams has a QB who can handle the moment.
Let's see if Lamar can change that here in the 3rd quarter
January 28th, 2024 at 5:01 PM ^
10 min left in the 3rd, and it looks like the Swifts have already won. They're moving the ball pretty easily, and the Ravens are struggling with everything
January 28th, 2024 at 5:06 PM ^
Just logged in to say that Tony Romo knows something about fielding snaps. As the placeholder, he famously fumbled the snap of a FG attempt that prevented the Cowboys from winning the 2006 wildcard game against the Seahawks.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:17 PM ^
Ravens need to bring in 2 extra OLine and run it down KCs throat
January 28th, 2024 at 5:25 PM ^
I guess bringing in extra linemen could make a material difference but the Ravens non-Lamar running game has been putrid today.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:18 PM ^
T-Sizzle? Never heard that nickname before, not even on Ballers.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:22 PM ^
You joking, on Ballers I'm not sure they ever called him by his real name.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:22 PM ^
Dumbass Flowers
January 28th, 2024 at 5:24 PM ^
That taunting penalty was one of the DUMBEST penalties I've ever seen taken. Just fucking stupid.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:27 PM ^
Since the first half when Van Noy had to go all big shot on Kelce. This Ravens team is so undisciplined.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:32 PM ^
And they call him a professional football player.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:27 PM ^
How stupid do you have to be to get the taunting penalty? It is the single dumbest thing you can do. You know they’re looking for it. Have some class. Try to be just a little bit like Barry Sanders.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:29 PM ^
The taunting penalty proves very costly. Could be the difference in the game.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:34 PM ^
The difference is.. most likely - seven points - and a one possession game where a FG ties it up. To, a two possession game with an offense that’s struggling to put pints on the board.
January 28th, 2024 at 5:27 PM ^
Oh god 🤦🏻
January 28th, 2024 at 5:29 PM ^
Flowers is a goat. And not the good kind. This game is cursed for the Ravens. They just lost... I don't think they can turn around from this.
