Plain Dealer- OSU Players Talk About Denard
An interesting quick read. Even Boren grunts a few answers. Although the Plain Dealer is normally a horrific OSU homer rag, there's nothing inflammatory, and they are actually fairly complementary about D-Rob's hot start.

Boren had to eat an extra doughnut to make up for the time it took him to spit out a sentence.

Ahhhhhhhahahahahahaha! A Boren fat joke! Very original! Especially funny because none of our OL guys have some fat on them.

Are you unhappy with that comment...
(cheesy after-school special pause)
... because you're really unhappy with yourself?

Absolutely not!!! I might be fat, but I'm not unhappy - chicks still want me:

Wow! Thanks for the laughter and the compliment, I tried hard to come up with the best Boren fat joke I could. And it worked!!!!

So much love going on for Denard right now it's crazy. So pumped going forward with what this team is capable of. Thanks for the article.

Why would I give a shit what Buckeye players think about Denard? They'll be getting a front row seat to the back of his jersey come November anyway.

You can comment in the Plain Dealer, as you can in any Booth Newspaper, using your Mlive ID.

with quotes from OSU players in week 2 of the regular season (11 weeks from the OSU game) = scared Buckeye writers.

I want to say that,I'm happy the team/media from the south is paying attention on whats comming out of A2.
The thing we Michigan fans much remeber...act like we've been here before. Take it one game at a time. This is a marthon...not a sprint!

is Juaquin Feazell and Harlan Huckleby's stranglehold on #1 and #2 positions in jeopardy here?
September 16th, 2010 at 2:20 PM ^
I thought Tyrone Butterfield was his clear-cut #1 of all time? I know he's mine!

We only talk about Michigan players

Does anyone know if Boren would have eligibility remaining this year had he stayed at Michigan? It is interesting to read about his non-answer response to the question, especially if he would have been blocking for Denard this year had he stayed. Those Who Stay Will Be Champions (or at least be able to play with Denard).

This article is totally fabricated.
"Yeah, that's pretty crazy. I read in the paper he had a lot of yards," Boren said.
Everyone knows Justin Boren can't read.

Even in print and with a sympathetic writer, Boren still sounds like an idiot and kind of a jerk. Obviously, though, it must work with the ladies.

Picture is waist up only. Ladiness: unconfirmed.

I live in Cleveland, one of the articles is titled, "Boren Wall" Leads OSU's rushing attack. I thought I was going to throw up.

I'm not surprised at all that they're saying nice things. While fans of rival teams tend to hate each other, the same generally doesn't hold true for the actual players on those teams.

We can beat anybody on the schedule, including that team. Can is the wildcard word. But I am sure if they have seen any of Michigan games, they know it too.
I like the energy and togetherness of this team. A credit to the coaches.

I notice that they conveniently aggregated the scores from the last two years to say that we have not been competitive since RR arrived. Really? OSU won by 11 last year, with our true freshman QB handing over a TD to start the game and committing numerous other costly turnovers. This year's Denard leading last year's team might have beaten OSU.
Using the same scoring numbers you could also look at the trend, which is that in year two under RR Michigan allowed half as many points and scored 43% more points than in year 1 against OSU. The gap is closing rapidly, and this could be the year we catch up.

Laughable! UM has plenty of real football to talk about and you pull.... the trend? Shit, by that logic, UM will win by 100 in 10 years. That same logic said women would run faster 100 meter sprints than men within 10 years...10 years ago. I assure you, this year will have nothing to do with two years ago or last year. The Game is measured in W's and L's not "we lost last year by considerably less than the previous year". That is loser talk and I expect more from you fellas.
