Personal Questions

Submitted by xtramelanin on March 26th, 2020 at 7:38 PM

Mates,

With lots of people wound up from the CV-19 impacts, maybe a good time to distract from that.   I have put together a deeply probing personal questionnaire, the answers of which will not be shared (or remembered) by anyone.  Utilizing secret scientific methods and profiles, the questions are as follows:

1.  Cookies or cake?

2.  Car or truck?

3.  Khakis or jeans?

4.  Coffee or tea?

5.  Open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning?

6.   Why did the chicken cross the road?

The 'why' to all the questions is extra points.

Be safe and take care of your families.  Hopefully you are enjoying them more than you had anticipated.

Cake quality can vary significantly. The best cake I ever had beats any pie, cookies, or baklava. But 15% of the world's cakes are on par with eating cardboard.

Brownies - homemade almost always very good.

Why are sweatpants not an option? The way I’ve been eating lately, I can’t imagine trying to grease myself up enough to try and squeeze my fat ass into a pair of Levi’s so I’ve been sporting sweats or pajama pants. Yes I’ve given up.

1. Cookie.  You can have a cookie cake.  I've yet to see a cake cookie

2. Truck.  Cars can't tow tractors and haul lumber.

3. Jeans.  But honestly a nice pair of 5.11 cargo pants are awesome work pants.

4. Tea, iced. Hot beverages arent my thing.

5.  Both...

Depends on the day and the treat; they aren't all made the same. Cookies need to be crisp, while the cake moist with good frosting.

2. Jeep Grand Cherokee so something in the middle. Again it depends; I've  had a Challenger, I've had a 2500. I like to drive so it almost doesn't matter.

3. Khakis. I was khakis before JH was khakis. I've never really been a jeans guy.

4. Coffee. I gave up coffee for Lent thinking tea could carry me through. It didn't take but a day to have me berating tea like I was the Rock. "Get this Candy ass drink away from me!". Never again.

5. Christmas morning. Now that Imma grown man I get presents through out the year; I open up ceremonial presents for the family lol

6. To get to the other side! Seriously,  don't give chickens too much credit

  1. Cookies. Lots more variety, better texture.
  2. I'd like to own both - a very fast car (Tesla, Audi RS) and a small truck (Tacoma). Currently have a Tacoma. It's great for camping and getting Home Depot stuff.
  3. Khakis at work, gym shorts at home.
  4. Coffeeeeeee. Then beer.
  5. Christmas Eve. been that way as long as I can remember
  6. The chicken crossed the road to get to the other side.

1) Hate saying it depends, but it depends. Specifically on where said cookies or cakes come from. For example, I'll take Public cookies over Publix cake all day. If I'm at the deli I worked at in high school, I take their cake over their cookies every day of the week. Also, combining both options and making cookie cake is pretty great, too.

2) Car. No bias against trucks, just never had one before and don't need to start now.,

3) Jeans

4) I don't drink either one

5) Christmas Day. If I open them on Christmas Eve, I'm sitting around the whole next day with nothing to do. We're not a religious family so we don't attend services or anything like that.

6) Why did the chicken cross the Mobius Strip? To get to the same side. Bazinga! I watch way too much BBT and I didn't have any other witty responses to this question.

1.  Cookie Cake

2.  Minivan

3.  Athletic Pants

4.  Mocca

5.  Chrustmas day for kids, Christmas eve for the parents (wink wink, nudge nudge)

6.  I dream of a world where the motovations of chickens are not questions.

1) Cookies, more practical and the average cookie is better than the average cake.

2) SUV- like 2/3 of America it seems.

3) Convertible cargos. Lots of pockets and you can zip off the legs to become shorts.

4) Coffee-Kona, or Sumatran. Tea is good though.

5) morning- can't people have any deferred gratification?

6) To get away from who was chasing him.

1) Cookies - who the fuck eats cake all the time?

2) Car - Handle better, usually better gas mileage unless you have a sports car, in which case... yeah car

3) Jeans - Khakis are for people who can't decide whether they're dress or casual... indecision is my enemy; thus our coaches problem, indecision

4) Neither - had kidney stones once, and no desire to give birth ever again

5) Christmas morning - Unless you're really old "baby boomers" and up, as the Xmas Eve tradition is really old school... though kinda cool.

6) To get away from all the idiots that he realized he was surrounded by... ultimately decided death by car would be a good reprieve

1) Cookies are better than cake, but pie is better than both.  And ice cream is not required - it's derned good with pie, but not required.

2) Car for work (too long a commute for gas mileage associated with trucks), trucks for everything else.

3) Jeans - khakis are for work.  Unless you're working at home, in which case PJs are in order...

4) Coffee.  A couple of cups in the morning, definitely not all day long.  The occasional afternoon, or after dinner cup is fine, but people who drink it all day long, every day, are just weird.

5) Christmas morning.  And make the kids wait outside the room where the tree is until mom and dad are done with morning coffee and whatnot.  Anticipation...  It's great fun to tease them while they wait!

6) Because he felt like it.  Chickens do their own thing, man...

1.  Cookies or cake? Donuts, then cookies. Warm donuts, mnnnnnnn

2.  Car or truck? Small/mid-sized truck. Way too many DIY projects to survive with a car or SUV, It is entertaining to see people at the lumber yard jamming lumber into their car or strapping it on their SUV. I typically make at least one run a year to the nursery, several for mulch, dirt, lumber. I usually also have to haul stuff to the dump a few times a year. If I lived in a Condo or didn't have a cottage/house that needed work a car would be great, but I cannot live without the convenience of a truck.

3.  Khakis or jeans? Jeans. I work from home. They last longer, show stains less and are more casual

4.  Coffee or tea? Neither. Never developed the early morning caffeine habit. I don't like the smell or taste of coffee.

5.  Open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning? Morning

6.   Why did the chicken cross the road? Randomness, chickens are stupid

1.  Cookies or cake?

  • Cookies. I typically need to be in the mood for cake, but I can eat cookies all the time.

2.  Car or truck?

  • Not sure what an SUV or Crossover would classify as, but that's my preference. I prefer the feel of a larger vehicle with decent gas mileage.

3.  Khakis or jeans?

  • Jeans, they are far more comfortable.

4.  Coffee or tea?

  • Neither. I love the smell of coffee, but don't like the taste. Tea is hot, weird tasting water.

5.  Open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning?

  • My family was all over the map during Christmas time so there was never a tradition. My wife's family does a new set of pajamas on Christmas Eve and then all other presents on Christmas day, which is cool and all.

6.   Why did the chicken cross the road?

  • Probably to mate. Hell if I know.

4.  Coffee or tea? Coffee (french press or americano)

5.  Open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning? One each night of Hannukkah

1.  Cookies or cake? Cake. The frosting particularly a creme based frosting is tough to beat cherry chip or carrot...

2.  Car or truck? Truck the first 27 years and a Challenger the last 8...

3.  Khakis or jeans? Shorts all year sub zero do not care. Jeans if you force the issue

4.  Coffee or tea? Cold ice tea, slightly sweet never coffee anything...just don't care for the taste/smell

5.  Open presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning? Christmas morning. Still something magical about the season and family.

6.   Why did the chicken cross the road? Give the CIA 15 minutes and they will have an answer
